This place is amazing. The lobsters were caught daily and served absolutely fresh! Also they provide variety of sauces, which is... very convenient! Also the price is great and the portion is big! Probably the best fried pickles we've ever had!! We had the haddock tacos, haddock chowder, a hamburger, fries and fried... pickles. This spot behind main street in Damariscotta is a gem. The food was just perfect. Burger cooked to a perfect medium. The haddock fried to perfection. And the pickles! Pickles sometimes get dried out but these remained perfect! Seating insideand out. Lots of hot sauces to chose from if your into that. Many craft beers to chose from as well. Highly recommend!! Read more

We went to the Lobster Haul for the first time last year on their busiest day (Mother's Day rush!) and had fantastic food and... service despite some significant staffing shortages. We've been wanting to go back and went again this weekend with a friendfrom out of town, but arrived five minutes after they closed due to some traffic. The staff let us in anyway and made us themost delicious lobster rolls - generous portions, fair prices, and were so friendly to boot. Upon recommendation that the Lobster Haul being hands down the best lobster roll in Damariscotta, Maine from August at the... Riverside Butcher Company we decided to check it out. We came in from a good day of exploring and arrived just minutes beforethey were closing. Instead of turning us away they welcomed us in, and provided the most friendly service to go with thedelicious food that they served. We took our meal to go and thoroughly enjoyed every bite.
