My brother took me here a few years ago so this visit didn't disappoint. Fantastic food and service! A gem of a restaurant.

Decent food and good service, but dishes were missing the pungency and saltiness I expect in food I last had in Burma. It felt... underseasoned. Great value, though, and nice of them to have pictures of everything in the menu. Read more

Tommy, the owner, is the best. Super sweet and kind and explained how the menu works. Lots of options for vegetarians! We ate... the Tea Leaf Salad and it was amazing. Crunchy, spicy and flavorful. We also got garlic noodles that were amazing! Never tasteda garlic noodle like that. And it had a dressing to go with it. We had the best experience. Thank you Tommy and all the workersfor a great dine in experience. Read more

Absolutely love the customer service and the food we had was delicious and authentic! Incredibly accommodating restaurant owner.... Also, the prices are reasonable as well as the food portion. Will definitely return again when we’re in the Bay Area. Hope youfind this review helpful and try this place out. :) Read more

We were coming from SFO, and Tommy at Taste of Burma was kind enough to accommodate us, even though it was almost closing time... and my reservation through Google didn't go through. The food was very tasty - we had samusa, coconut rice and tofu curry - anda great conversation with Tommy about his work and life coming from Burma and his sushi business. Wonderful people and wonderfulplace. And conveniently located near the airport if you are arriving late in the evening. Highly recommended! Read more

I ordered garlic noodles with shrimp, paratha, and samusas. I really liked the paratha and the samusas. I didnt like the garlic... noodles , but to be fair, i prefer egg noodles (served here is like a wheat flour/pad Thai type noodle). Idk about theambience, it’s definitely a hole in the wall, but the staff was very nice! I plan to try it again soon because i liked thespice/curry flavors. Read more

Food and service was good but portion size on the beef curry could of been better granted the price. We ordered three dishes and... spent $30 per person after dining. Read more
