The staff was super friendly, but it was very, very dated. And kind of confusing on how to get checked in and seated. But the... reason it's 2 stars and not 3 or 4 is 2 different pieces of fried chicken were raw in the middle. The waitress informed thecooks, but no one took any steps to check or remove any. Today's experience wasn't as great as all other times I've ever been but it was still a decent experience. A worker tattled on... another worker for asking a NON-offensive simple question. I told the manager that sweet lady did not offend me....but theworker that tattled offended me for making a big deal out of nothing. Otherwise, food was great and most of the staff was kindas usual. Went with my dad and we really enjoyed our meal. There was ra eally good, southern food buffet available, with plenty of options... for anybody with dietary restrictions- such as ourselves both being diabetic- so we didn't have any problems finding food thatwouldn't send our sugar sky rocketing. Of course there were plenty of delicious looking sweets on the dessert table, aswell. The service was really impressive. Our waitress kept our drinks full, cleared away empty dishes promptly, but was neverover bearing and was very professional. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a good Southern meal! Haven't seen a Western Sizzlin in over 25 years. The steak, baked potato and salad was still as good as I remembered! Update... .... have been back twice more and you couldn't ask for a better place to eat. The food and staff are outstanding! Justremember, they close at 4pm on Monday evenings ... but are fully open for business during the rest of the week. Read more
Wow our first time here and I hate that we waited so long! I had stake and the wife had the buffet. The wife said no more Golden... Corral the buffet is better here. My stake was cooked perfectly and I was really impressed. The dessert bar was awesome and Ithought that was better that Golden Corral also. Our waitress Katrina was also very attentive and helpful. This location was clean and the staff truly represent the phrase "southern hospitality." This is my first time to a Western... Sizzling, and I was pleasently surprised by the food quality. Everything I ate was tasty and felt like home cooking. Much betterthan the other southern buffet style restaurants I've been to. My only issue is that the A/C was not working when I went andit's a hot summer day down here in GA, so I was a little uncomfortable due to that. Read more
When in Dalton stop here for a great meal. You can order stak or get buffet. Priced reasonably. Clean, friendly staff.
