I FINALLY went to a McDonald's that got the order right AND put napkins in the bag! I don't know what it is about leaving... napkins out but every McDonald's I've been to in a long, long time have left them out of the bag. Kudos to whomever trained theworkers at the Varnell, GA location! I ordered mayo instead of mustard/ketchup on my small cheeseburger and it was thrown on thebun pretty sloppily but hey... This location is SO CLOSE to our house... so we use it in a pinch. The employees are always kind. However, for some reason... their fries always taste bad. Like chemical bad. Usually I justify this as old fries under the warmer... but tonight there was aline...they were busy... and rhe fried should not have been old. Yet still have that bitter chemical after taste. Why? Well we ordered 2 quarter pounds one with no cheese they both had cheese and chicken nuggets were ok but we order fries and they... were the worse fries I have tried to eat. So thank for nothing. Read more
I myself, have had good experiences, and bad...not only with food and service, but I was employed her for a 2nd job, and I got... Covid-19 twice, during the heighth of it all, and when I came back I didn't a job much long afterwards. Later, on I tried to goback to my 2nd job, and was told by the same management that were there the first time, and even called, back to interview withher, and was told she'd call me with starting insttuction, and I never received them, nor a call, or vaseline, ear plugs, whipcre, or strawberries...AND DID I MENTION, I HAD ALREADY WORKED THERE PRIOR TO PANDEMIC????? People, come to understand laterthat she would hide from me when I would go in the place to see what was up, AND have employees LIE to me, and say she wasn'tworking that day, ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????, then passed out from the anger, and theaudacity!!!? WELL NOT REALY, but Iets just say, I ain't been back... Found out the icing on the cake was, my mother-in-law, whothe lady also knew from previously working there, was calling, and stopping by there, and telling her ALLLINDZ OF MESS aboutme..... "Oh I wouldn't hire him back id I were you.!.!.. He is rhis, and he is that, and even told her, I had lied about havingCOCID TWICE JUST SO I DIDN'T HAVE TO WORK... We only ever get sweet tea and coffee here. It's hit or miss on the tea, sometimes it's old and nasty sometimes it's too sweat... other times it's perfect, try it before you drive way to avoid any tea related accidents. Read more
Food was fresh staff friendly and quick. Ice cream machine works but no longer dip cones in hard chocolate. Bummer
