Great stop on the way through Dallas! Great selection of beers, good food, clean cool taproom, and a nice outdoor sitting area.... Owner and bartenders were very friendly. Super dog-friendly - brought us out an iced-down water bowl for our pup filled to thebrim on this hot day. Even had a hook to tie the pup to, so we didn?t have to tie him to the table. Westlake Brewing is a wonderful oasis in the otherwise hectic area of Deep Ellum. The beers are crisp and refreshing, and... definitely lean towards spring and summer flavors. The tripel is a standout. The brewery itself is really, really clean and evensmells nice. Sometimes they even bake cookies in house! The staff is friendly, which I know is a compliment that gets tossedaround, but this staff is actually very friendly. Do stop in. It's a solid brewery. Read more
Super impressive experience. Ray at the bar was great. Very reasonable prices. This was hands down the BEST southern beer I've... had. (keep in mind most Southern craft beer has nothing on other areas of the country, but Westlake is legit). Strong, butsmooth and tasty beers. $8 for a flight. They allow you to bring in your own food. Our favorite brewery in Dallas! We have been coming here for a couple of years and decided to share it with our loved ones by... hosting a welcome party for our wedding weekend at West Lake. The staff is always so friendly, and they have a great selectionof beers and food. Definitely recommend it if you are looking for a chill spot in deep Ellum. Read more
