I am so disappointed at service. They brought our wine at 9:45pm and when placed an order for some small dishes, server tell us... that they close at 10pm. I told him "I understand they stop taking orders at 10 but, like everwhere else, we can finish ourfood and drink, right?" He said NO! we have to leave at 10. I asked why he didnt tell us that before we oredered theiroverpriced wine ... his response " our hours are on our website and on the door, ma'am" I have a hard time to beleive this isthe way owner wants his/her restaurant to opperate... I really think servers want to leave as soon as 10 hits and thats whatthey tell the customers but the owner needs to have more control over their business. I am not going back...eating or drinkingout is all about having a pleasent time. Its about taking a break and relaxing in a different environment than you home...thisplace added to my anxiety and I had to pay for it too. Its WRONG!! Read more
I would say 5 starts, food and drinks were wonderful. But after politely asking for my check a FOURTH time, I was blown away by... how rudely I was treated. After slamming down the dishing he was picking up, Brian finally went and grabbed my check and broughtback plenty of attitude with it. It?s a fancy area, so we expected overpricing. But this is not the problem. The atmosphere is kind of cold, nothing cozy at all,... including the servers. The lady misunderstood my order, and brought me a different wine. I only realized it when I saw thecheck, my wine cost was twice as much. When I asked about it she didn?t take the time to answer me, just showed the one shebrought, and didn?t even give me the opportunity to let her know she made a mistake. I can't say enough positive things about Trova! The staff is beyond knowledgeable and they provide excellent customer service to... all! The owner, Michelle, is so sweet and is extremely personable with everyone who walks in the door. We had our companyChristmas party there in December and it was magical! The chef is so talented and created an amazing menu with phenomenal winepairings. The entire staff made everyone feel comfortable and welcome the whole night! The wine list is short but we were able to find some good bottles. The biggest issue was the value of the tray. The tray was as... skimpy as it could be. Sad that such a nice place is skimping on the charcuterie boards. $100 board posted. Read more
