Would not recommend. Needed pans of rice for a baby shower so We went last night to pay for an it and they told us they wld go... ahead and make it and we didn?t have to pay because the girl up front was new and didn?t know the prices. So we were told theywould make it and then we cld pay for it when we picked it up. But instead got a phone call at 7 in the morning saying theywould not make it unless we rushed down there and paid them, even though we were told we could pay for it when we picked it.It?s frustrating because we drove out there last night to pay for it So it definitely would have been paid for up front if theywere more organized. So now we are without our order for this baby shower and have to find another place because this place wasnot more organized. Very inconsiderate people work here. Read more
They make homemade, fresh tortillas and they're great. On one side it's a restaraunt you can dine in and on the other side you... can order food to go, get tortillas and other stuff. You can buy bags of Chicharrones (pork cracklins), Masa for tamales, Mexican bread, cookies, etc. Oh my goodness, they're super sized donuts are the BOMB!! I started going there just for thedonuts. They're $1 a piece, but so worth it. They have a lot of plates to choose from and very affordable. The food isauthentic Mexican food and not TexMex. It has a lot of flavor and spices. I like this place. Fresh tortillas and chips. Fresh salsas of different kinds. They carry tamales which are pretty decent too.... They actually have a menu for food orders as well. I have ordered the chilaquiles with bistek and the portions were enough for 2people for less than $8.00 with tax. There is an entrance to the Fruteria ,which is another part of the business and they sharethe eating booths . So if you purchase food to eat you can eat there or take it to go. I went there to get tamales. The lady at the cashier told me that the tamales are not ready until 9:30 am. I asked her what time... do you open at and she replied at 6am. Then I walk away and she yells the tamales are not ready at 6am. Bad service. They didnot have any ready but the tortillas. Very bad service!!!!!!!!!!!!! II would give them a zero!!!!!!!!!! Read more
