We all ordered the ribeye, it was perfect. Crab cake for appetizer was awesome. Very good food. We enjoyed the environment too,... it has the feel as if it’s a cross between a sports bar and a nice steakhouse. It was exactly what we were looking for. We were looking for a nice place to take our friends from out of town and we were so embarrassed to have landed at the Hall. The... chips were unbearably salty. Spinach artichoke dip wasnt mixed. The fish had a decent flavor, but it was super greasy. Itreally needed some acid to cut through the grease. A medium rare steak was extremely rare. The waitress, who was certainlyattentive, failed to let us know but she added gratuity to a check. We had a party of 6 adults and two infants. One checkdisplay the gratuity added, the others did not. I don't mind adding gratuity, but it should be pointed out to everyone withouthaving to ask. Having worked in the service industry, it seemed very misleading. This is very very far from the experience weshould have had for a $500 meal. My wife commented, we would have gotten the same experience at a low end chain. I guess we justexpected more. Went in because I wanted a steak where I could sit at the bar and watch some football in a relaxed atmosphere. This place was... definitely that. My bartender/server was really nice and was easy to talk to. The food on the other hand was mediocre for theprice. I ordered the prime rib cooked to medium. The steak resembled more of a steak from a diner and the steak was way overcooked. For the price of the steak - I couldn't believe what i received - it was not worth it. On the plus side....the the sidesalad was decent and the grilled vegetable that came with the steak was my favorite. It had great flavor and was cooked well. Iprobably will not come back again.
