I know inflation, pandemic, Russia/Ukraine war has increased pricing and whatever other excuses business owners come up with to... justify their pricing. One can taste the difference on flavor and the quality of ingredients they use. Their price increased,the quality, taste and ingredients decreased... We consumers notice the difference... So, there is that trend in manyrestaurants. Parking it's hard to find, small restrooms. Establishment not very friendly with customers with disabilities, isn'teasy for wheelchair, crutches or other equipment to seat confortable... Service from staff it's great. Read more
Cool little spot for street tacos and margaritas. It?s an outside type of joint so plan for that. We went at lunch and it was... pretty busy but not too long of a wait if you arrive early. I had carnitas and brisket tacos. Both were very good and thetortilla was fresh. Love a fresh one. These are street tacos so they aren?t huge, just the right size IMO. We will be goingback. Read more
Almuerzo con mi hijo y mi hija. After an appointment in the area my son suggested Taqueria La Ventana. The service was good,... the patio was perfect, the energy was vibrant. The food was ok? the Chicken (Pollo) tacos meh, they were dry but still tastyand the steak quesadilla was a bit tough BUT the Braised Beef (Barbacoa) tacos were very juicy and flavorful. The horchata wasdelicious and very refreshing. Parking is available on the street and around back. The prices were very good and we reallyenjoyed dining together on the patio! The misting fans were a nice touch???? Every patio should have them. Read more
I am new to the oak lawn area and I was excited to try some tacos from here. It could have been that my timing to try them out... was off because they did not exceed my expectations, unfortunately. Our order was missing food and the taste of the meat waslightly seasoned. I might give it another go in the near future. Read more

Loved the al pastor street tacos and chips con queso. I'm here on vacation, and I loved them so much i went back a second time... and may visit a third before i head back home. Decor is fun and vibrant. They have outdoor seating with fans and mist to keepyou cool. Read more
