My family and I went for the first time on Sunday 11/6 at 4 pm. I ordered a fish and chicken wings only to wait and never... received my food. I was told that the combo was unavailable after waiting 15 minutes. The chicken I did receive was greasy andundercooked.Served to me in a container full of grease. My family and I did not receive good service. This place also hasroaches . As we were sitting at our booth roaches began to climb from the wall onto our table. This place is the worst ever. Came here and $86 dollars was spent. The food is super overpriced and was nasty. Someone I came with ordered a wing combo and... was waiting for her food over 15 minutes. When she asked where her food was, they said ?oh we aren?t marking any more combos?.Instead of telling her when she was in line, they had her waiting for food that was never coming. To make matters worse, while Iwas eating, a roach literally crawls on the wall and onto the table. I couldn?t even continue eating and was about to leave.Next thing you know, another roach comes crawling out this place is so disgusting and they are rude. You know places like to situp and refute comments, so I will include pictures in case they try to lie DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT EAT HERE??. I got the smothered steak and it was chewy and more bone then meat. The dinning area was good. Nobody seem to know the prices... for anything. I spent $18 for a bone yams and greens. My husband got the special which was chicken fried steak for almost $8. Hewas not happy. We drove from fort Worth just to visit them....... Will I go back? No thank you Read more
Ok tried them for the first time and spent over 100. 00 bucks on 4 horrible dinners. The Salisbury steak was a big hunk of dry... distasteful hamburger meat with no taste, fried chicken absolutely no seasoning (what black person doesn?t know how to seasonchicken) greens not seasoned, cabbage to spicy. Top it off the staff have nerve enough to have bad attitudes serving this nastyfood. Don?t waste ur time or money with this joint. This is why it?s hard to support us !!! Read more
Great friendly staff and superior service. The food smelled and looked good. The portions were large and well worth the price. I... had to drive over an hour to get home to dive into the food. We had the fried catfish and baked chicken with sweet potatoes,greens, mac & cheese, dressing. The desserts are a must, German chocolate cake, peach cobbler, pecan pie and a mini chess pie.This food so hit the spot, it was so good. Well worth the drive from McKinney. Read more
We went last weekend the food was so good we drove almost 300 miles back again this weekend and brought friends to experience it... with us. Unfortunately yesterday everything we ordered oddly taste like sour cream we were very disappointed. I have thecornbread stuffing it taste like sour cream the macaroni and cheese taste like sour cream and so did the broccoli ricecasserole. The environment is nice the staff is very friendly and professional I don?t know what happened with the foodyesterday. Read more
I've been eating with this family owned establishment since 1991. Their plates are now 16.99 plus. Sides by themselves are 5.00... plus. But when I ordered a side of chicken tetrazini it was 9.99. I don't understand. If the entree with 2 sides is 16.99 andsides are 5 plus each. The math ain't mathing. But prices are not that important if the food is good. I ended up leaving withpeach cobbler. It tasted like ingredients were missing and the peaches were hard and crunchy and different colors. The crustwas gummy and dry. I prayed I wouldn't get sick cause it was the worst I'd had in awhile. I was so disappointed. Back in Junethings were somewhat starting to change for the worse. The veggies were not very good. But my turkey wings were. So it'sunfortunate but this place is not the same.
