This is the 1st time the martial arts school i attend has visited this location (as far as I know) and we loved the atmosphere... in the addition the food. The open outdoor dining was also enjoyable for us all. It's a different style of food for a Tex-Mexrestaurant. We weren't expecting a Tex-Mex restaurant with a bbq base for most of the meals offered. The Smokey ChickenEnchiladas were a little spicy for my daughter, but we loved the sides that came with each meals ordered. I'm sure we'll beback, but it won't be anytime soon. Read more
Service was good, everything else was GREAT! The venue, the fly fans, the menu, the food, and the drinks are worthy of five... stars. I mean the brisket I had was one of the best. Toasting the bread is a great plus! The restaurant was not even full, andwe were getting rushed to keep ordering drinks or more food. While the server was nice, it didn't let us enjoy our afternoon. If you want some good BBQ with a beautiful patio look no further. The brisket and sausage is a must. And if you are loaded... ???? person you wil not be disappointed. Good BBQ, had the brisket queso, pork belly (awesome), and two meat plate with macaroni and collard greens. Kids had the brisket... street tacos, and chicken strips. Free valet parking. Hope to visit again real soon. Reservations recommended. Read more
Big place. Lots of outside seating with great cover for sun or cloudy days! Lighting and heating events seem to be around... almost every turn. Service is good and the food is matching service! Drinks are especially good and they have a great happyhour!! Give it a try especially if you are visiting the Dallas arboretum which is right down the road! Read more
Parking is a mess when the restaurant is busy. There is just not enough parking. The valet people were even parking peoples car... on the sidewalk. Pretty sure that’s illegal. The restaurant food is pretty decent. The queso is thick and lots of flavor! Thechips seemed a bit stale. The brisket sandwich was very good and so were the fries. Their in house bbq sauce taste similar tomolasses, which I didn’t care for. The outside seat area is very nice! They had live music when we visited on a Saturdayafternoon. Read more
