I came here a few months ago to get some fufu and egusi. I was greeted with a warm and happy face. I forget his name, but he was... so nice and welcoming and he did something very kind for me while I was there. And I could just tell my food was made withlove!! Next time I am in Dallas I will be back for some okra soup! Hoping the best for this place Read more

I called ahead and ordered egusi soup with assorted meat and pounded yam on Saturday and it was ready when i got to the... restaurant. It was one of the best egusi soup I've had in a long time. Portion size was also great for the price. I wish I hadtaken pictures to upload. I will definitely be returning to Shuri restaurant. Read more

Chicken was very hard and dry, goat had no meat. Had more Jollof rice than meat for $15 a plate. Jollof tasted nothing like it.... I was very disappointed with this Nigerian Food. Not what im used to at all. Very expensive for the quality of food. Read more

Worst restaurant by far. We were seated at a dirty table, offered no drinks or even cutlery/ condiments. We waited & literally... had to ask them for menus. They started deep cleaning the floors with a strong chemical while we were dining which made one ofus feel nauseous.Terrible customer service from the two male servers. 10/10 would NOT recommend. Do not waste your time, it?snot authentic Nigerian food. Read more

IF I COULD RATE MY EXPERIENCE A 0/5, I WOULD. My first and last time visiting this restaurant. For starters, my friends and I... weren?t even asked if we wanted any drinks with our order. I ordered vegetable soup. It had no authentic Nigerian taste. I eveneventually asked for stew to be put on the side to at least give the soup taste and the ?stew? tasted as if it came straightfrom the can and they just added oil to it. When telling the Cameroonian server (and he could also see for himself) that I didnot finish my food and did not want to pay for something I literally only took 4 bites of, he did not have my time. He theneventually sent an older man out who?s professionalism was not there. He literally said he will go and get the 4 chefs to comeout and that I should tell them to their face that their food doesn?t taste authentic. What a terrible and belittlingexperience. I would not recommend. Read more

This was the most horrible African food I have ever tasted. I ordered the okra with mackerel. It looked as if the opening a can... of mackerel and dumped it inside. You could clearly see it was not cooked with the okra. And as far as taste it had none. Noteven salt. No spice nothing. I also ordered the vegetable soup. It taste as if they pulled it straight from the ground choppedand served unclean. I purchased the food for a dinner party. It was so bad the African lady through it straight inside the trashcan after tasting . Read more

I enjoyed my early morning meal on my last day of my visit to Texas in here. I ordered eba and okro stew, and suya. The meal was... hot and delicious. They had it packaged in a To-Go package even though we were eating there. The oeices were reasonable as well. Read more
