It's been a few years since my last visit. I had the Turkey burger previously. This time I had the buffalo chicken sandwich... which came with steak fries. It was delicious & not overly saturated. Even more so the entire vibe at Sankofas is off the chain.Look up at their website to view the vegan or meat options. The hibiscus tea is a must have as well. My wife enjoyed a strawberry margarita and some catfish from up here. I had the mushroom turkey burger. And it was by far the... best turkey burger I've ever had. That, on top of the friendliness of the staff made our experience great. We drive 40 minutesaway just to come here. Will definitely be returning to try the whole menu. Read more
10/10 Mushroom swiss burger and Vegan potato was huge! Perfect toppings, all blended perfectly! Authentic fries! I'm a guy that... likes big portions and was definitely pleased! Smoothie ????????yes! Excellent chilled neighborhood atmosphere. Old school music really set the tone and the selection of books. Really enjoyed the... vegan burgers. I had the Vegan Mushroom and my son had the beyond beef. He also got the green smoothie..forgot the name..but otsfeatured. He got another to go and the Hibiscus tea was great. Vegan food was absolutely delicious! Ordered the vegan platter and the vegan mushroom swiss burger. Husband said it was the best... burger they've had. Vegan platter included fried shrimp, chicken tenders, and catfish. *Chef's kiss* so good! My daughter evenpicked out a book from their bookstore to go home with. Read more
We got our 1st chance to visit & it's a good surprise. I liked the books, shirts, soap & other merchandise. It was also... decorated very nicely. The staff is very friendly & take the time to explain the menu. They cook to order & you get your food ina timely manner. Everybody enjoyed their meals. We'll be back to try other items. Read more
I came in to have lunch on a Friday afternoon. It was relatively quiet & I was greeted from a nice lady behind the plexi glass.... She kindly told me the differences in the menus (in regards to food options). I asked her what were the most popular items.
