Bad experience with the waitress last night. I ordered a first glass of wine, which I thought it was a bit small. For the second... one, I ask if it would be possible to be a bit larger. She said ok and would pour more. But she actually charged me for twoglasses. Which is not what I asked. So bad customer experience. And for sure, I'll never come back. Read more

Located inside The Fairmont hotel, this nice little restaurant and bar has a small selection for dinner, but enough options for... everyone. I had the Pyramid Cheeseburger. Perfect temperature, the burger was very flavorful, topped with cheddar cheese andthousand island dressing. Do yourself a favor, and order the fries as your side. Crispy, a little on the thinner side, the frieswere cooked to perfection. I finished off my meal with a Apple Cake Crumb for dessert. The cake was a little dry, but the flavorwas good. Overall, a good meal, and great if you're in a pinch and need to grab something later, or don't feel like leaving thehotel. Read more

A surprisingly good time! I went to Dining in the Dark at the Pyramid prepared to not like many aspects of it. I did not want... to wear a blindfold, I wanted to see what I was eating, I did not want to spill my food on my clothes. The entrance at theFairmount is well staged to transition you from light to dark. By the time you are at the table, you realize you are reallygoing to be eating in the dark. Instantly, you feel out of your comfort zone. You do not feel silly at all wearing ablindfold, because no one can see you. Then you start dealing with the unfamiliarity of finding your drink, your plate and yoursilverware without your eyes. The wait staff is very helpful in letting you know when and where they place the many differentitems that are brought out. Remarkably soon, you become very comfortable using your silverware. The best part is that all ofthe food and the wine and whisky pairings are great. Everyone was having a lot of fun discussing what we were eating anddrinking. Dining in the dark highlighted how the the taste of each wine changed as you ate the paired course. When the mealwas over, we then met with the chef and the sommelier and peppered them with questions for at least thirty minutes about how andwhy they chose the pairings. I left very happy, with a clean shirt and a new appreciation and understanding of dining. Read more

The menu at the bar has a variety of great specialtydrinks . There dinning menu is called the Farm House variety of 44 burgers farm burgers and the 38 different greens and entreesand a desert menu that you could say it deserves its name Sweet Endings . as l was sitting at bar out of no where amanda managerof the restaurant came over to me directly with a trey of two different deserts let me choose one of my choice .well let me letyou in on why she did as l sat at the bar l was asking the bar tenders all kinds of questions about the hotel and that l was aGoogle reviewer on Google maps and that's why I'm asking as to there reaction of oh really how cool then they became verycurious of where was l from what do l for a living and I was honest and l got on my phone and started to start my review and asl was typing they kept looking and just peeked there interest that l was there to review them right then because l kept typingand they. Knew l was I made it to were they could see as l was typing and looking at thec menus and looking at all of themthinking put my phone down for awhile impressed that l was actually took what l do seriously and with intent thought to myselflet me see if this makes more of an impact on many levels doing it like l was the Google reviewer of Dallas looks that goes along way that people forget about the little details no matter the reason because that's when the manager came up with the treyof the deserts and made me feel she did it to make an impression because when she came straight to me first to say we had thesedeserts left over we'd like to try one of our two favorite deserts she described them to me and l said how special and that lwould love to try l happily picked the lemon tart buerlie and how impressed l was she smiled as if w Read more
