Upscale pizza place that has a lot to offer, including an extensive wine list. Nice to sit outdoors. I got vodka ravioli, ... loved them. I've been coming here for about 5 years. For the most part I've always had a good, simple experience. The pizzas are excellent,... the Cesar salad has a rich anchovie flavor, and the staff is always fantastic. My last two dining experiences have been lessthan great though. This last time my daughter and I were seated and proceeded to watch the five customers after us receive alltheir food. We were told the ticket printer had stopped working and they were trying to fix that. I ended up taking my pizzahome instead of dining in since we had waited at least an hour for the pizza. The time before that they had completely messed upour order. The pizza really is good so I'll probably give them anther chance, but I'm losing my patience with them. Read more

We visited this pizzeria after attempting to eat at a competitor, so we arrived annoyed and hungry. The staff was extremely... friendly and "inclusive." Our appetizers were very flavorful, and the bread dough was airy and chewy. The pizza had the rightamount of grease and a flavorful after burn from the soppressata. The black truffle metro style is the way to go. Great wine selection and specials during the week. During the week from 3-5... (Friday is until 4:30) they do B1G1 for any Metro Pizza. Mondays are also free for kids. Parking at the Lakewood location issuper easy too. Inside seating can be a bit limited. There's usually plenty of seating on the patio. Me and my gf came here for our anniversary. 2 months ago then owner gave me a coupon for a free bottle of house wine when we met... at the 2021 Deep Ellum Pizza Festival. Now you may dismiss the house wines but let me tell you the white wine paired beautifullywith the carbs. The metro pizza is a compromise for a couple that wants different toppings and a large circumference pizza. Ourservers were excellent, one even took time to take our photo.
