Had the Bleu Cheese and Candied Bacon Brisket Burger-very good. Smoked Chicken-good, but was only at room temperature. Brisket... Burnt Ends-meh, kind of dry. Steak Fries- good, but could've spent a bit more time in the fryer. Potato Salad-ok, had corn init. Weird. Beans-ok, had carrots in them. Weird again. Lol Whiskey Pie-good. Very sweet, can definitely taste the whiskey in theglaze. Very nice place with good service. Definitely Chef inspired BBQ, sides and desserts. Overall was a good experience. ???? Read more

It's tough to get excited about BBQ in the Metroplex with all of the offerings, so I go to new locations with a lower sense of... anticipation. Oak'd more than exceeded my expectations. Everyone was super friendly from the moment we walked in, which is kindof rare these days. Meats are kept in the case behind the counter, and everything that came out was super moist. The gentlemanhelping us jokingly recommended the turkey multiple times so I took him up on it and wasn't disappointed. Easily the most tenderturkey I've had at a Dallas BBQ joint. Even the sides and garnishes were notable. It will take a lot for another BBQ restaurantto top that experience. Read more

Great little BBQ place. They have a large outdoor seating area and a bar. You order before taking a seat. Happy Hour is 4-7pm... and $3 drafts. The meat had great flavor and not overpowering smoke taste. Definitely worth the stop. Read more

First time checking this place out. Great selection of meats and sides. The crew was extremely friendly and helpful. They have... generous portion sizes all that I tasted was flavorful. I ended up taking leftovers home for a couple more meals. I normallydont sign up for rewards programs on a first visit, but I like saving money and good promos so definitely signed up for theirrewards. Will definitely be going back. Read more

Ordered wagyu brisket, smoked chicken, 3 cheese mac and cheese and steak fries. The brisket was so juicy and flavourful the... smoke on the the chicken added so much good flavour and texture to the skin. This may have been the best sit down restaurant macand cheese it had multiple dimensions to it. The fries were crunchy and just the right amount of seasoning. Customer service wassuperb. Arriving at 8pm they were sold out of ribs and other items but they still had brisket, sausage, pork andturkey. I had the brisket and sausage plate with Mac & cheese and apple cider slaw. Diane had the turkey sandwich and thinfries. The brisket was cut from the marbled end and had the perfect amount of smoked flavor that did not overwhelm the beeftaste. The garlic-pepper sausage was very good but it seemed the casing was a little thicker than usual and that made it tougherbut not enough that I wouldn't re-order it. The turkey was absolutely wonderful. Tender, jucy and great smoked flavor. The Mac &cheese was very good with a not too thick not too thin consistency. The slaw was really good because they don't dress it untilyou order, leaving the slaw nice and crispy, the perfect way to do it. We asked that the fries be as crispy as possible andthey came out very good. The seasoning was just right. The only downer was the sauces. They have a Carolina mustard and a Texasred. We don't do mustard on BBQ so it was up to the red, which seemed to have too much vinegar and just wasn't as good as mostreally good Texas BBQ places. I still used it as the taste wasn't terrible just disappointing to us. The service was as good asit gets, friendly and efficient. Overall, we would try it again when in the area. Came in for lunch today 1/3/22. Had the Waygu Brisket Baked Potato and 3 Cheese Mac. It was amazingly delicious! The gentleman... helping us was very helpful and his recommendations were on point! Will definitely be back! Highly recommend! Read more
