This place is definitely a Gem! I don?t even know where to begin, the food was amazing, Chef definitely took her time and put... her food in it. Hands down they have the best staff, bartender was on point. Everything about Monrovia Lounge was a hugesuccess. I've been going to this venue since they had their regrand opening. I personally have always had exceptional customer service. ... I'm Liberian, and very partial to Liberian food. When I can't get it for free at a typical house party, I usually choose tocome here. Food is cooked just like how my Mother and grandmother makes it, just not as extra spicy. I recently justcelebrated my 40th birthday party here. My cousin also hosted her husband's 50th birthday party here. This restaurant has absolutely terrible service, it took over 30 min to be acknowledged or place order. After placing order we... literally waited two whole hours and still never got food and had to cancel. Everyone around us got their food but we wereneglected. The food was hot and fresh seasoned to perfection. i love the flavor and spicyness of the sauce on the side. The service was... excellent and ambiance of the place was great. I really enjoyed this place the atmosphere and the staff were awesome I got some recommendations and I went with the peppered... soup with goat meat and fufu. They also has a seafood option. The soup was soo good but it is spicy. My boyfriend had the Cajunseafood pasta. We also had some yummy fried plantains. Would definitely go back! Read more
