The café is a spacious layout nicely, and the room\'s ambiance is pleasant. However, the bathroom is very close to the seats,... and it smelled horrible the whole time we were there which had to leave fast.\nWe also ordered cream puffs which were dry, andthe cream tasted so weird.\nThe pound cake had too much baking soda/powder and no flavor.\nWe also had three orders of tea andno tea bags.\nThe pastry pictures looked great, but the taste was not what we had expected. I love desserts. Sadly, most of the time I am disappointed with those bought at a store or in a restaurant. These compare with... La Baguette in Oklahoma. Moderena, is excellent. The desserts are fabulous. They are not too sweet and melt in your mouth. Ihave tried the gelato too. It is delicious as well. I will be returning to try different things. Read more
Moderna Bakery and Cafe is the best bakery in Dallas. Cappuccino and cakes are devine. The stuff are friendly they greet you... with smile. As soon as you get there you order Infront and relax. In Few minutes the waitresses deliver your order. No need towait for a hostess to seat you, you just choose any seat in this open feel restaurant with a natural lights. We are so excited to have this little Cafe in the neighborhood!! Right now they are just having their \"soft grand opening\" so... they do not have their full menu posted yet. The two times we have been here, each person was so friendly!! Their fruit tartswere very good and their vanilla cake was delicious. We can not wait to taste their coffee and see what the full menu has tooffer. We are definitely routing for this business and wishing them much success in the area. Read more
The worst customer service ever! I had been sitting for 20mins after I paid to pick up the cake I chose. They didn\'t have the... right size box, the girl started serving other customers instead of looking for a box. I wished, I didn\'t pay before I receivedit ready and I was also in rush to go somewhere. Finally she found a box, after I reminded them that I was waiting on them.
