I was visiting a friend in Dallas who had hyped up Mike?s chicken as the best fried chicken he?d ever had. I can proudly say it... lived up to the hype. The chicken is fried fresh made to order (like it should be) so expect to wait a little bit for yourfood.\n\nThe chicken itself was extremely juicy and flavorful. The breading had plenty of seasoning, was crunchy, and did notfall right off the chicken like some other fast fried chicken places.\n\nThe creamed corn and green beans were also exceptional.The corn still had a nice bite to it and was not mushy while the green beans were tastefully seasoned. The green beans were alsoprobably some of the best I?d ever had. I would be happy to eat both of the sides on their own.\n\nThe only complaint I had wasthe biscuit was a bit dry. There was a nice glaze on top though, and if you were to eat the biscuit with some mashed potatoesthen it would probably taste fine.\n\nOverall I?d agree that Mike?s Chicken had some of the best fried chicken I?d ever eatenwith some exceptional sides as well. First time at this 2nd location and it\'s just as delicious as the other location. I got the spicy breast + wing and added an... extra wing. Meat was juicy and skin was crunchy and tasty. This food has flavor! The fried chicken had super crisp and flavorful skin. You could see the seasoning! The tenders were... huge and some of the best I\'ve ever had. But the sides...damn! The mac and cheese has a unique and complex flavor, greenbeans were fresh and cooked to perfection, and the baked beans had a hint of hot. We will be back! Know that they make it toorder, so your food will be fresh, but this means a short wait. Totally worth it! Read more
