This is the best Mi Cocina in town. From the food to the staff, everything was excellent! When we came in we were quickly... greeted by the hostess and given a table immediately. We could tell it was a busy night this was during Texas vs OU weekend andstaff were on top of it! Within less than 2 minutes we were given chips and salsa and some guacamole which were delish and sofresh. As for cocktails I had a mambo taxi and my friend had a tropical mojito. The mojito was so good! We didn't get much afterbut the nachos mi Tierra 50/50 which were also so good especially with the poblano sauce on the side. Shout out to all theamazing servers and bartenders to take care of us they were all so attentive. That would be Paola, Jessie, Adrian, Javier, andAngel, our main server. We have been looking for a good Mexican restaurant in Dallas, so far this is one of the better ones. The restaurant is very nice... and clean. We ordered cheese enchiladas, chicken enchiladas with rice and beans along with tortillas. The enchiladas tasted homestyle. The rice and beans were good too. I wasn't impressed with the tortillas because they tasted like the ones one buys at thestore. If I go to a Mexican restaurant, I expect freshly made tortillas. We had to wait on drink refills. Went here try the place food was okay but nothing super authentic more Tex-mex but I still liked it but my partner & lil one... didn't. Service was amazing but was a little pricey for what you get somewhere else but didn't mind due to ambiance & Service.Great place for social talk with coworkers or non Hispanic friends that don't like super spicy foods. A little on the pricey side but the quality of food ,presentation and the service made it well worth the visit! The salsa... served with chips had a wonderful flavor and not overpowered with spices. My only thing is that I wish is they serve the samekind of corn chips they had in their nachos. They're rather hard to chew if you're missing a couple of teeth or have dentures..Those nachos chips should be one to serve as appetizers. Read more
