*Went here on recommendation from a coworker that explained they make the poké bowls like they do in Hawaii. I got the classic... bowl because I don?t know any better on what makes a good poké bowl. I was surprised how simple but elegantly put together theingredients made a poké bowl. You can taste all the edamame, sushi rice, the tuna, and other individual ingredients togetherlike being able hearing the tuba, clarinet, and flute separately but together make music called a symphony. FYI. You order at 1of the 3 screens. The prompts are easy to follow. I do recommend at least a medium sized bowl. Read more
I had the poke taco dish. The seaweed wrapping is a big fail. You can?t chew through the seaweed. The only to create a seaweed... taco shell that works is to have the seaweed very very dry so it easily breaks when you bite it. Otherwise it?s like trying tochew through a tough flexible cloth. This is definitely one of the better Poke places in the Dallas area. I always enjoy what I get here. One thing I don?t like but... this is just a personal preference: I don?t like that their Medium bowl is the same size as a Small bowl but with doubleprotein. I wish the 3 sizes were all different. The gal that took my order was very helpful and she explained to me how theirmenu works. I ordered a medium build your own bowl with Salmon, edmame, red onion, crispy onion, carrots, serrano pepper, and afew other things. So fresh and delicious! The serranos added a kick to it and the flavor profile was excellent. I?ll definitelybe back to have another bowl of poke. They do it so well and the interior is so cute! Malibu Poke is a great value for fresh fish in Dallas. I ordered a tuna poke & a chicken poke and honestly the fish was better.... I wouldn't say the chicken was bland but compared to my other bowl it was no competition. If you're looking for healthyaffordable options, give them a shot. Read more
Delicious food and great quality ingredients! The sashimi grade fish really sets this poke spot apart. I love that they have... cauliflower rice as an option although I?d consider doing the larger size if that?s your base. The only reason I rated at 4stars is the pricing is a little on the high end compared to other fast casual poke places but given the quality ofingredients?it?s worth the price! Read more
