Had a booking for weeks they would not honour, showed them proof but just did not care. We were dressed well and were not... intoxicated or anything untoward. There was no reason for them to say no apart from a large ‘group booking’. Disgustingcustomer service, we planned our entire night around the booking and they were so unaccommodating and uncaring. If you have the opportunity to do the tasting menu here, do it!! What a treat! It was such a great sampling of their delicious... dishes. Soups, fish, beef, dessert...wines paired perfectly. I'll be back for a standard dinner to have the sea bass.... thatdish stole the show for me. Fantastic!! The staff was awesome, each dish was described, each wine introduced. Courses came outat a perfect pace. The ambience inside is very minimal, not too fancy not-- too laid back. Just a really clean modernvibe. It was a perfect anniversary celebration. A very average experience not in line with the prices. Both orders of the Steak Special/filet mignon had large amounts of... gristle to the point I'm convinced it wasn't even tenderloin. The AC was barely keeping up with the temperature (~95°) whichis completely understandble...but when the cooking started the restaurant got quite smokey and the front and back doors wereopened to air it out. All in all, a disappointing experience when only in town for one evening; if I were local I wouldcertainly give it a chance at redemption as other menu items seemed promising but it is unlikely we would return to Local. I had the Chef's tasting menu. Overall it was excellent. I am looking forward to Chef's next chapter of tasting menu. I... personally think it's the best valued 7 course meal in the city, Especially with wine pairing already built in to the $120 perperson proce point. Chef had it just right, as I know how difficult it is to impress anyone with 7 courses of American basedcuisine. Read more
Tried the tasting menu with wine pairings for our anniversary and had an absolutely amazing time! The pairings were great, and... the food was amazing as well. Many really awesome flavor combinations. The spare rib (pictured) was epic, and the lobster cakewas life changing as a crab cake fan. My fiancé loved the scallop. Everything was perfectly cooked. The staff were veryattentive, and everything made for such a nice experience. Thanks for making it one to remember! Read more
Great place for a date night! Food is fantastic and Crystal provided us great service, helping us choose from the wine list and... joking and having a good time. The scallops were top notch, the Brussel Sprouts were tasty, and the coffee to top it off wasstrong and vibrant. 10/10 would visit again! Read more
