The food and mezcal were delicious. The size of the tacos was perfect. We had two carne asada and two Al pastors. I highly... recommend this place for food, but unfortunately, the service was terrible. Our waitress was so rude, I asked her for a beer, and she said this is a Mexican place. We only have Mexican beers. She never returned to our table. We had to go to get ourdrinks all the time. She didn?t even come when we asked her for the check. Horrible service. Que pena, para un lugar con comiday bebidas tan ricas. Read more

Well there you have it. This place will become a tradition any time being in the vicinity of Fair Park. Las Almas Rotas is the... perfect walking distance from the events at the park and it is so worth it. The drinks are absolutely top notch. Mescal is sosmooth and in drinks it makes for a perfect cocktail. The food also follows suit. We tried the empanadas with carnitas and theywere fantastic. I had a chicken milanesa torta and it was so good. The chips are not like other chips and the guacamole is liketable side at some fancy restaurant good. Next time I'm debating going to an event at the park I will immediately know I want togo just to come back here. Read more

Been wanting to go here since I first moved here a little over a year ago and finally made it over! It did not disappoint. I had... heard of the large tequila and mezcal selection and it was quite impressive. I got a margarita and they asked if I wantedsomething specific in it so I ordered it with a certain mezcal that was recommended by someone in my group. The mezcal wasexcellent and the margarita was excellent. The tacos were also really good. The tortillas are fantastic, sourced form Molino whois awesome and they do heirloom corn tortillas with tradiontional methods. An order of 4 is $14 and you can pick two styles. Meand a friend ordered different ones so we each got to try 4 different tacos (carnitas, lengua, Al pastor and carne asada). Thecarnitas was by far my favorite. The green salsa was also excellent. The lengua and pastor were good, not the best I?ve ever hadbut good, would get again. The carne asada was ok, the meat was tender but lacked the seasoning and flavor I expect from carneasada. But all in all, enjoyed the tacos! And better yet, the restaurant is all dolled up for the holiday season and just givesit that something extra special! Read more
