This is my second visit to Lalibela and it is by far the best Ethiopian restaurant in the Dallas area. A quaint lil restaurant... which offers a homely feel. They have a full bar with a limited selection of wine. The menu has a lot of options but its bestto go with the recommendation of the owner. She was great in suggesting the veg platter with an addition of lamb. You canorder more injeras if you have the appetite. The veg platter has a good selection of flavorful sides and the lamb was cooked toperfection. Service was very personalized. The owner kept checking with us if everything was to our liking and if we neededanything else. Plenty of parking available right outside the restaurant. Second time here & it was even more amazing. Our first trip we tried the tibs which were the best in town we’ve had & the... waiter recommended the ribs for our next visit. We got the ribs this visit & loved them even more then the ribs (which wedidn’t think was possible). Absolutely great date night vibes, atmosphere & service. Veggie combo.. lentils were not fully cooked , food was served cold to lukewarm, but was tasty. Had to ask two people to hear up... my food. Came here years ago and unfortunately experience today was not upto par. What unfortunately happened after has happenedto me in other Ethiopian restaurant Desta.. what is price in menu was $14.99 however I was charged $16.99. I gave two star because the waitress was kind. The food was terrible. We ordered the veggie combo and they gave us a spoiled and... smelly one. We told them that it is spoiled. The owner was there she didn’t even bother coming and apologize or at last try todo something. If you go there pls stay away from the veggie combo or smell it first. Very disappointed! Read more
We tried this Ethiopian restaurant late Friday night, and it was great! Everyone was friendly and the waitress helped walk us... through the menu. We got the vegetarian combo and gomen besiga to share, and everything was delicious! There was also more thanenough food. We took plenty of leftovers for the next day. Read more

I was not ready for how good this was!!! I had a vegetarian platter and but others had meat and both were really really good.... Waiters and servers are very polite and hospitable. Enjoy eating there and will definitely keep going! Read more
