At first glance my onion ring order seemed kinda small. 5 rings. But when I sat down and picked one up it was hefty. Then the... burger. We had lunch at JG's to try the hamburgers. I ordered the cheeseburger basket which came with fries and a drink. My husband... ordered the same thing without cheese. I wanted unsweetened tea, but it was empty. The man behind the counter said he wouldmake more. The restaurant was heavily decorated with cool stuff. It has an outdoor patio with umbrellas if you want to sitoutside and eat. The burgers were good but the fries were even better. The buns were toasted and had a great flavor. Thehamburgers come out plain, but they have an island with all of the veggies/mayo/mustard etc in order to fix it the way you want.My tea wasn't ready until I was nearly done with my meal. Randomly picked this place for dinner since the place we?d planned to go wasn?t open and this was just nearby. Nice, throwback... style diner with indoor and patio seating. Mostly burgers fries and sodas with a few beer selections too. Enjoyed the food. Wasgoing to give it four stars because fries were dry and bland but the guy who checked us out came by and asked how everything wasand when we mentioned the fries he gave us sweet potato fries to try which we did enjoy.
