We ordered the chicken sandwich with fries and an Arnold Palmer (half sweet tea, half lemonade), and the small white meal with... pimento mac and cheese and fries. The hot spicy chicken sandwich had good flavor and was adequately spiced, although it couldhave used a little more seasoning. The fries were on point, crispy and well seasoned! We ordered the small white with no sliceand it included a breast and a wing. The chicken could have used more seasoning, but was crispy. The pimento mac and cheese wasokay, but the pimento flavor was a little too strong for my liking. The portions and prices were fair. I would recommend and Iwill be trying their baked beans and greens the next time. Read more
The restaurant is clean and the theme and design of the restaurant gives it a retro "diner" type atmosphere. The food is okay,... the Cayenne seasoning is definitely there... and that's it. The chicken dishes we ordered could actually use more salt andthey were dry. But thankfully their "comeback sauce" helps alleviate both problems. I recommend that you try this place atleast once in order to experience Nashville Hot Chicken. Read more
Best chicken sandwich you will ever try. I tried this spot in Downtown Nashville sometime last year. I was amazed at how good it... was. They're a pretty good size. They opened a spot in Dallas a couple of months ago and I had been itching to go. Thesandwiches pictured are the mild. They have about 5 levels of hot. Deep Ellum is always a fun time. There are great shops, eateries, and bars. HATTIE B'S is AMAZING! First time in, the staff was... friendly, and helpful. From ordering to cleanup someone was there with a smile. Be careful on your heat choice because they canbring it. Even the sides are good and flavorful. (May I suggest the Bacon and Cheddar Grits, yummy) Even the sauces areinteresting and delicious. Indoor and outdoor seating do you have choices on a warm day. First trip out to try Hattie B's. Ordered tenders at Damn Hot heat level, dirty bird fries at medium heat with sides of baked... beans and greens... Revolver for the adult beverages. Strips were served hot and spicy, crispy batter...Not excessive batter;just right. Heat level was respectable and the sides were all good and served hot. Beers on tap, with good local selection. Goodfor lunch or to meet with friends for drinks and good snacks. Portions are a good value. I drove out from West side of FortWorth and it's worth the trip. Read more
