Such a cute and convenient little store and cafe. I was able to find a lot of random, yet tasty snacks that I?ve never seen... anywhere else. They have a lot of vegan friendly food items as well. Lately I\'ve noticed one or more pumps is closed. I assumed it was due tosupply chain issues. Nope. The pumps are just broken. I found this out today when the pump I was using failed to stop pumpinggas at the designated amount. The nozzle does not work, allowing the gas and the meter to just keep running. In fact it justkept spewing gas all over my clothes, all over my skin, my shoes, my car. Now I happened to have JUST BOUGHT the coat I waswearing in preparation for the winter hell we are \'bout to go through. Could\'ve just thrown that money in the trash becausethat BRAND NEW coat is ruined. Green Spot markets itself as a \"green\" convenience store. Wasted, spilled gas just blocks fromthe lake is NOT environmentally keen. The owners are not local, but in another country according to employees. Descriptors likegreedy, dishonest, negligent come to mind.\n\nAs for the \"convenience\" portion... the products are overpriced, often not veryfresh. I ate at the snack bar twice. Once it was just not that great so I tried another item next time and ended up with foodpoisoning. Read more

Green Spot is a wonderful local restaurant / market that we frequent as they carry our favorite Noble Coyote whole bean coffees... and have a delicious cafe in the back corner of the shop. For a quick sandwich or some really great, authentic tacos, it is oneof our go-to spots. Parking is easy and the staff is always friendly. To order food, you go to the cafe counter and order andthen take the ticket to the front of the shop to check out. They also have grab and go breakfast tacos by the register that area good choice when you are tight on time. Love to support local businesses like the Green Spot. Read more
The best secret hidden tacos!!! I?ve been coming for years now! Hidden inside the Green Spot convince store is one of the BEST... places in Dallas to get tacos. I have tried every taco here and wow every single one is absolutely delicious. I drive 20min toget these tacos, it?s a craving you can?t get any where else. This place has gone downhill. The cooks aren\'t friendly and the quality of the burger has gone down. The Patty taste like a... frozen pre-pressed beef patty and a little spongy. I paid $25 for two people with drinks and sharing fries. Liberty Burger is abetter option. They dont even offer pickles for your burgers. Disappointed. I wont be back. Read more
