Corporate needs to pay this location a visit. A simple substitution of one item was a big problem for the cashier. She didn’t... really know what she was doing, clearly. Manager who came to help was pretty stand offish as well all because I asked a questionabout a Togo order. Every time I come here there’s a problem with the order or the staff is rude or both. I have dined at Golden Chick in various locations around the area. I had never dined at this one. They were very busy and... apparently understaffed. The chicken was not as good as what I normally get. It tasted like it had been under the light for along time it was very dry and tasteless. The lady behind the counter was somewhat overwhelmed I do believe she was new. Iordered a leg and a breast and I got a wing and a thigh. Had to redo my order. One thing that is really annoying is the icecream machine. If it's not working and you're not going to fix it remove it. Don't have it sitting there out of order. Thatsends the wrong message to customers. What else is wrong in the back where we can't see? Read more
Hadn't had golden in awhile, so I stopped by this place for the first time around lunch time to try out some chicken tenders and... catfish. Used the drive thru, and they were pretty slow. Though the food seemed like it was cooked to order, the catfish had arubbery and chewy texture and almost tasted like it had been microwaved. The chicken tenders were unfortunately pretty belowaverage also, pretty bland and overpriced imo for the what i got/to what i paid ratio and it's pretty bad when Jack in the Boxchicken tenders are better tasting than yours. Horrible visit. The fish was cold again and the green beans were cold and looked like they had been sitting in dirty car oil!!
This was my first time actually eating here. It was good. I puts me in the mind of "fresh" Chicken Express. The rolls were... good????, the drinks were fresh. My food was hot however my husband's was not. It wasn't cold but not hot as my tenders. Thestaff was amazing. They gave us enough condiments to go with our food. Overall, no compliments. Read more
Fantastic golden chick location. Went here for a 4 pc spicy tenders with a side of fried okra nuggets for a snack. Food was... fresh, Drinks tasty, service great. My favorite part lotta zing seasoning. Read more
