This place is amazing ...I was looking for shrimp and grits and they were actual good. The staff made the experience even more... amazing..Fernando, the manager greeted me to allow me to try the soups, as America, the bartender entertained and took care of me at the bar. They made me feel welcomed and not to mention the food is bomb and service even greater. I will be back to thislocation to try more things on the menu..definitely a must try... Read more
Somehow we asked for information on a special and wound up getting personal and first class service from the kitchen manager... Raul Maganaaddition to our waiter Alex. The food was outstanding!! Cute and quaint restaurant. The service is super inviting and friendly. They have such a yummy menu that it makes it hard to... choose. I ate the chargrilled oysters there but had to get my main meal to go. I decided with the blackened Rainbow Trout withrice and sautéed spinach. I had the best experience here. The manager Avery was so nice and had me try the welcome wagon with a sample of their gumbo,... jalapeño soup, clam chowder, crab bisque, and firecracker shrimp. All was so delicious. My waiter and bartender was Gino. He isAMAZING? He is very knowledgeable and suggested I try the fish tacos and spicy margarita. The food arrived very quickly and wasvery delicious. My drinks were also very delicious. Gino is very attentive, calm, and has great customer service skills. Thankyou all so much. Stopped by for takeout , first time having the Honey Chipotle Shrimp Taco?s, they were excellent! I also ordered a cup of red... beans & rice. & Gino recommended I try the hush puppies , boy was he not wrong! Best hushpuppies in town . Fast & efficientservice every time! Delicious, flavorful food! Enjoyed sampling the soups, though I can only have the clam chowder since that?s the one that?s... gluten free. Nice little treat since I eat seafood every once in a while, it was jam packed with flavor and friendly service.Art is a cool dude, great bartender to chat with. Everything was GREAT! My husband and I were first time diners. The catfish special could have used a little more sauce, but the... fish portions were awesome! The almond pesto on the Barramundi special was fantastic! We definitely will be going back. Read more
An outstanding seafood restaurant. You absolutely have to try the char-grilled oysters. The grilled red fish was cooked... perfectly. If you love excellent seafood, then you have to visit Half Shells. Now that I have finally discovered this incrediblerestaurant, I plan on returning on a regular basis.
