I absolutely loved my visit to this restaurant, the staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was calm and inviting. The decor is... tasteful and not tacky! Definitely a new date night spot for my husband and I. I had the chefs special with steak. Wow. Great service. Great food. Nice romantic environment. Lovely music. I got the hunkar begendi its an eggplant and lamb... dish. It is made from eggplant grilled until the skin is burned, giving it a smoky flavor. The eggplant is puréed, seasoned,and thickened with béchamel sauce. If you're craving authentic Mediterranean cuisine, it can't be betterthan this Turkish dish. Who doesn't like pancakes? If you're not much of a flour fanatic, try their zucchini pancakes! I'dtotally order these for a quick snack or even lunch with some pita bread. The dining area can accommodate larger families orgroups. This is place like a hidden gem - it was empty when I came for lunch on a weekday. Delicious food at a low price, with a high... end interior and attentive service. We went for the salmon and the doner kebab which were both delicious. The side salad andsautéed veggies were great as well. I didn't leave anything on my plate. This is my absolute favorite Mediterranean restaurant in Dallas!The service is unmatched and so friendly. A family owned... restaurant and the owner is the head chef himself and he is the one preparing everything. The food is absolutely amazing ?everything we tasted melted in other mouths, the Beyti is a must try and the kebab/the beef in the roll was so juicy, tender andflavorful! It was also so filling, came in a big/full plate with healthy and delicious sides. Another must try is the ? calfliver? which was the best liver I have ever had all my life! I am Turkish and I had tried this liver dish at different times andlocations and even in my country I hadn?t had it as delicious as this one. One of the most ?Authentic ? Mediterranean/Turkishfood you can find in the metroplex. So tender and soft with some crisp on the coating. We had Kunefe as dessert which warmed ourhearts and made our tummies sooo happy! FRESH. No seriously, the food here is definitely FRESH. Literally the chicken kabobs melted in my mouth and the veggies must... have been picked out of a garden earlier this morning, lightly cooked and added to the plate. The pita bread and rolls were likeeating lightly flavored clouds while the rice was as fluffy as your grandmother?s pillow.
