Nice staff. Good salsa. Chips looked store-bought. I had the Chicken Tortilla Soup. I did not like the consistency and the taste... was off. My son had the Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas. The sauce had a different taste to it. He didn't like it. I guess weexpected a more traditional style of Mexican food. Read more

Instantly in love with this restaurant! It’s such a hidden gem! I wish I hadn’t waited so long to finally go, and now that I... have I’ll be coming back regularly. The salsa is LEGIT. After I tried that salsa I knew I was in for some seriously flavorfulfood. Food is insanely tasty, the service is top notch, ambiance is super cool and prices are very reasonable. We ranted aboutEmilio’s kitchen to all our friends the rest of the night. Read more

Good menu. Friendly service. Ordered grilled fish tacos. They were very watery and by the time I got to the third one it was... nearly inedible, mush. The refried beans had an odd flavor. Ingredients did taste fresh though, just bad combinations. Read more

His bar and restaurant was surprisingly quiet for a Sunday morning. Small restaurant of only 16 total tables/booths seems... hidden in the shopping center across the parking lot from Whataburger. Table was provided with warm chips and salsa to startthings off. The salsa was surprisingly mild and flavorful. The food was good and arrived very promptly. The nachos were ofthe loaded tortilla quarter variety with dollops of sour cream, pico, and guac. The refried beans were topped with a sprinklingof queso fresco. Unfortunately there were some vits of carrot and peas in the rice which the kids don't prefer. Will likelyreturn in the future. Signage indicates they use Doordash as an ordering service. Read more

I just moved to Dallas and these are the types of places that will make me obese! I got the steak chimichanga and it was... perfect. It was covered w/ the best queso sauce I've ever had in my life. The biggest thing I noticed was the quality of theingredients. I'll be coming back. Read more

Visited on a Saturday after running errands. It was a nice little spot and it wasn't that busy. I sat at the bar and looked over... the menu. I will admit that I didn't do that much research bc there weren't many vegetarian friendly options. I ordered a frozenCasamigos margarita and queso while continuing to review the menu. I was also given chips and salsa. I ended up ordering theEnchiladas Mineras with tomatillo salsa along with rice and beans. I wasn't too impressed with the food. The tomatillo salsa wasacidic and seasoning on the veggies was light. The rice and beans were cool. Salsa was cool. The queso wasn't the white queso Iwas expecting, instead it was a yellow queso which gave me cheddar vibes. My frozen margarita was really good! The staff wasnice and efficent, my drink was good, but I wasn't impressed with the food. Read more

Came here randomly on a Tuesday. My husband and I were so happy with the food and atmosphere. Very clean and cozy. Chips and... salsa really was delicious. Carne asada was tender and perfect. Personally I loved the queso wasn’t too spicy but loved theflavor. Add beef and tortillas and you got yourself a meal. Definitely will be coming back on a weekly basis. Read more
