Best brunch I've had since moving to town. Menu is a non-traditional take on the classics so if you're flexible in your... expectations you'll be delighted. I had the Peach French Toast and it was tasty - though I did order some peanut butter tobalance out the sweetness. The Texas Tots far exceeded my expectations. Came here for a first date and enjoyed my experience here. My food choice wasn't the greatest but my date really loved hers. I... ordered the BBQ beef Flatbread and she had the meatloaf. It looked was really asthetic on the plate and tasted really good. Ialso had a smoked Old Fashion that was amazing. The service was good but just not knowledgeable of the food and drink choices.Ît was a nice experience but it would probably be my last visit. I completely feel catfished. The menu looked so good online (which the hostess stated hasn't been updated in a long time) and... then I show up and it's a buffet first of all. Ok no problem I'm sure it's going to be their menu in buffet form. No. This wasbasically like a continental breakfast but they charged $20 per person for this. All the food was cold and bland. The optionswere basic. And I had to make my own waffle. This place just looked like it was going to be better than this. I literallycould've gotten better food at IHOP. Anyway maybe the food is better other days but they do the buffet Saturday and Sunday 7 to2. Just light your money on fire instead of paying for this. I'm a little upset obviously but I try to always say positives andnegatives. Positives: The ambience was beautiful, there was an omelet station that my sis said was good. I?ve only tried the the breakfast food but it?s great & so is the service. I?ve been here 3 times in the last week & nothing has... changed. Went in on a Saturday around 530p. We were immediately sat on the patio. Not really crowded. We got the Cajun and shrimp chef... special and tofu tacos. You can taste the Cajun season in the special. Wasn't over cooked. Shrimp was nice and juicy. The tofutacos were Ok. You gotta dress it up a bit. The service was ok which is the reason for 4 stars. Read more
