The best freshly baked bread on Oak Lawn. The desserts are decadent and the selection is varied and rotates frequently. You can... grab a delicious ready-to-heat meal for the family, a selection of cold salads for a picnic (don't sleep on the green chilichicken salad, it is super yummy) or a made-to-order salad or sandwich. The staff is helpful but not pushy and can help youchoose just the right wine for your feast. The space is crowded but filled with delights. There?s so much to see and smell! I find it helpful to walk around twice, if not you?ll miss something good. The oatmeal w/... everything is a breakfast favorite along with a 3 chili cheese breakfast sandwich large enough to split with the husband. Theoatmeal is so much better when the kitchen employees make it and not the manager. On 3 occasions the manager made my oatmeal inattempt to be helpful. He?s not good at it poor guy I didn't have the nerve to tell him. I just immediately get sad when I seehim make it. This place was pricey even before prices started going up and is so much worse now. I?ve NEVER had an unpleasantencounter with any employee in the 2 years I have been going to this location. They are very inviting and offer to assist andanswer questions. Marisela and Martha went out of their way to accommodate a last minute catering order for my company to save a client happy... hour. I called at 11am for the food to be ready at 2:30pm (even though they usually require a couple days notice). I appreciatetheir service because they could have easily said no due to having many other orders to fill. When I arrived, the order wasready Martha helped me pick out a few other add-ons and helped me carry the order to my car. They both deserve a promotion. Read more
I have gone here many times and the food is average. The staff are generally rude and unhelpful. Multiple times I have had... issues with my order or with a long wait (20+ minutes) that I have brought up to a manager and they don?t care other thanoffering to remake the order. Online ordering is terrible, you get charged a premium for a longer wait and a confusing pickupprocess. Don?t go here, find somewhere else. Also they cut my sandwich the long way?who does that? Enjoyed some fresh dolmas! Beautiful well lit market in a bustling location. Colorful and lively. They have a build your own... salad. Food is definitely on the more expensive side here. I love their create your own salad option! This a cute little market with a lot of different food options. They have all kinds of options from fresh salads and sandwiches... to hot plates and even sushi. I love that right when you walk in you see fresh bread being made. I got a fresh salad and it wasabout 9 dollars for a huge salad. They have a few meat options which are extra. I don't think they have anything here that isn't delicious. From hot food, prepackaged meals, and cold drinks, you can't go... wrong. It is a bit on the spendy side and the employees aren't always the most professional... such as having side conversationsrather than listening to your order... but the food is spot on.
