Overall Rating: 10/10 - Drake’s/Drake’s Hollywood, whatever you want to call it definitely set the ambiance of the night and... I absolutely loved it. - As you can tell, it’s on the pricier side and I would highly recommend it still for an intimatedinner or special occasion (we were celebrating our new jobs!). Everything was definitely great quality and worth the money. Theexperience and the intimacy of the restaurant made it an experience you wouldn’t be able to experience at any otherrestaurant. - The chocolate silk pie was phenomenal and yes very silky. I had the white clam linguini and it was so flavorfuland delicious. The pasta Za Za was actually spicy and the steak was cooked to perfection. - I did enjoy sitting at the bar a lotand still would recommend it because the bartenders were so accommodating and willing to make us drinks we liked and adjustedthe drinks on the menu. What a unique gem in the west Dallas area. I can’t believe I waited so long to try Drake’a out, but now that I have I am so... glad I did! I highly recommend setting reservations ahead of time. The restaurant itself is not too big… it is small andcozy, and the focus is really on serving quality food and service. Our waitress Cassandra was so awesome and made our firstexperience great. She gave great recommendations and really took care of us from start to beginning. I have to say their pastazaza was my favorite of the night! It is one of their classic dishes as Cassandra let us know. If you’re celebrating abirthday or any special occasion, they bring out (upon request) a sparkler on the dessert you order, which is fun and makes youfeel special! Read more
Hard to get reservation here and the marketing event people are terrible . They don’t respond to your request at all. We end... up booking reservation for 4 for a birthday party. We would prefer a bigger group but they never responded back to inform it’snot available at least. But the waitress was great along with Drake the manager. There was also live music on Sunday night andhe was magnificent and will sing any songs upon request . There was also a magician Diamond Jimmy Tyler he was excellent. We hada great night with great food. I would have given it a 5 stars if the event people respond back to my email request. My onlydisappointment was the people they hired to overlook the event emails. But everyone else made it a perfect night. Read more
The ambiance here is very cool. I would come back just to have a drink for GNO or date night. The food was decent but very... pricey. Our waiter, Mike, was very thorough and attentive! If you do come for dinner, I strongly recommend the curly fries,those were the best thing we ordered. Read more
What an awesome experience!!! Mike you out did yourself!!! My husband I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere! Food was on point!... From chef to chef, what an amazing menu! Shout out the bartender for the amazing drinks as well. All in all will definitelyrecommend for any celebration! Read more
I made a reservation 3 weeks in advance and when we got there on time we were told we would have to wait a bit for the table to... finish up because they we’re running behind. We weren’t seated till 50 minutes later, without being able to sit. The managerdid offer us champagne while we waited and we would get a free appetizer. It was definitely not the way I wish the night startedbut once we were seated it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! Our server was AMAZING he bought the 1st round ofdrinks for the 4 of us! Also our food was brought out extremely fast and the manager came and brought 3 different appetizers tothe table. The food was delicious, drinks were great, and to top it off the cake and cotton candy with sparkles made the wholenight so memorable. Drakes has an amazing beautiful interior, really cozy. The service was top notch. The waiter was very knowledgeable. The Mac &... cheese was very tasty. I had the salmon but the flavor wasn’t my favorite. I had a drink that was like a lemon drop.Definitely one of the best lemon drops I’ve ever had. This is a great place to visit especially for dinner. They also havevalet, which is very convenient. I also like that they enforce a dress code. Service was great from the time I walked through the door. The food was very mid. Definitely could've used more seasoning on my... pasta and chicken on the side. The drinks.. I tried a frozen martini type drink and did not like it at all, but the waitressmade up with a yummy pineapple martini. Overall, it was an experience, but I don't have to return. Read more
