The food was decent but didn't standout in any way. The short rib was a short rib and the poke bowl was just that. It was also a... little in the pricey side considering. The atmosphere was interesting. What I thought was supposed to be an upscale restauranthad a bit of a bar vibe to it as the evening progressed and things got louder. I had a fantastic birthday dinner Saturday evening at Dragonfly. We had reservations and were sat at what I considered the best... table. Our server was prompt, knowledgeable and very friendly. The real star of our meal was the Southern Livin’ appetizercomprised of hummus, pimento cheese, and feta dip. I honestly would go back just for that (and the cocktails). Highly recommend! Read more
Beautiful setting. Nice neighborhood. Uptown Dallas, outskirts of downtown Dallas. Husband and I went late on a Sunday night for... drinks, 10pm. They close at 12pm. Menu for food at this time of night is limited but sufficient. Plenty of alcoholic drinks tochoose or request. I had the Tropical Tini and Caesar Salad w/shrimp. Both delicious. Prices run from $11 - $35. Bar, table orpatio seating. This is inside Hotel Zaza. Decent casual attire. Our waitress did a wonderful job of making sure our experiencewas positive. Celebrated a birthday yesterday. It was in a very upscale beautiful hotel. Because we had a party of 6 we were seated in a... closed off private room full of wine near the front. Food was great although my steak was grilled a bit too much for mypreference but the family loved everything. Waiter was funny and welcoming and attended to all of our needs. Would come back. Every year we try a new restaurant in or around Dallas for our anniversary. This year it was Dragonfly, it was our first time... there. Beautiful restaurant inside and patio area with very good food and drinks. We had the beer braised short ribs and thehalibut. Both were delicious. Would definitely come again. Read more
Awesome atmosphere. Tons of opportunities for pictures as well, if you are celebrating a special event. I went for my birthday... was thrilled to learn they have free valet. Also if it is your Birthday you receive a complimentary dessert. For dinner I hadthe red fish which was delicious. The red fish came with spinach and mushrooms, but thankfully I had the option to switch themushrooms to a different side free of charge. I had the key lime pie for my birthday and it was superb. The only feedback I haveis that it seems like our server was swamped, so it would take him some time to come back to our table to check on us. Read more
The service was amazing and the interior design was spectacular! It gave me a speakeasy vibe to it. My caesar salad was really... good. Crispy chicken sandwich was nice, but not the best I’ve ever had. I didn’t like the brownie at all frankly. Myboyfriend’s breaded chicken and mashed potatoes were delicious though, as well as our cocktails. Read more
