Ran over for a quick but late lunch->>>>the meat was dry but had decent flavor and the sauce made it edible in a... pinch. Planning to go earlier and give it a do over next go 'round. The sides were excellent but all sides were not availablethis trip. My disappointment ???? but kinda in a good way-it appears their business is chugging along. Great service and allstaff were helpful and friendly and quick --even though they were making TOGO orders simultaneously. Seamless, well-runoperation. All table tops were spotless when we left. I like the staff - they had outgoing, pleasant attitudes and it is stafflike this that will make the return trip worth it. Fingers-crossed for a great lunch next time. ???? Read more
Great food!!! We were very happy with our experience there! One of the employees came out to the dining area and thanked us for... coming in. He said covid has really affected them and usually on a Saturday they?d only see 3-5 people. He said when we came inwith our large group it was such a blessing. We loved that he shared that with us! The Staff are friendly and helpful.The prices are very reasonable for what you get and the food is delicious.They have 3... different kinds of BBQ sauce. 9 different meats and 8 different sides.Something for everyone.The bakers baked potato isexcellent!The fountain drinks and tea are huge!Plenty room to dine in. The measure of a business, is what they do after they make a mistake. I was in on Veterans Day, and they weren't aware of the... veterans promotion. I was upset and contacted their corporate office. I IMMEDIATELY received a call from the owner, whoapologized profusely for their error. He promptly offered is two free meals. After some reflection I accepted his apology, butwill decline the free meals. They are struggling bad, like every restaurant around, and getting free stuff seems wrong. SoChris, thanks. This little hole-in-the-wall is a fully stocked Dickeys... not to worry. Located in the Lower Level of the Renaissance Tower at... 1201 Elm Street, it is a bit of a trek to get to, but well worth the trip. (There are several other food vendors down there.)Little matter that they are fully stocked, as I always get the BBQ Sandwich Plate with the sauce on the side, potato salad,jalapeno beans, and onions and jalapenos as "sides". Yummy! The guy at the counter was very friendly and attentive to my needs,me being in a wheelchair. There were plenty of available clean tables in the large dining area shared with Chick Fila. Theambience of being in the skyscraper-solid and squeaky clean Renaissance Tower with superbly attentive "valets" ("BuildingGuides"? Sorry. I won't go back to this Dickeys. I visited last week and was not happy with the food quality. I dont have a problem with... restaurants charging more during covid. I get it but if I pay extra I want fresh food. I would rather yall say your out ofchives than get these. Look at the pictures of the chives. Sandwich was ok. Wings tasted like boot leather. Like they had been sitting under a heat lamp overnight and then just popped in the microwave to... heat up. Mac and cheese served cold. Salad served was a house salad not a Ceasar like we ordered. Dry, cold brisket. First timeever going to a Dickey's and pretty much has ruined any desire to even try another location. Paid alot for poor quality food.Wish I could have gotten my money back. Very disappointing. Don't go to this location. Fried okra and my Dr. Pepper were my bestthings I liked there! Read more
