Reviews for Dea Restaurant Dallas in Dallas, TX
very disappointing. Ordered the bistecca alla fiorentina medium rare but texture was very \"chewy\". The pasta was average. The... kitchen on a sunday night was disorganized even though the restaurant was 25% full - execution of delivery of allplates/courses was very poor. Some big names behind this restaurant but the overall experience, both food and service, wasunderwhelming. Read more
Dea is another home run by the Tracy + Lynae dream team! The cuisine is quintessential Italian with some amazing creative... twists that change regularly. I have dined there twice since they opened and the wine list has already doubled with anexceptional Italian selection...be sure to ask for any special Amarone\'s they have off list. The experience was topped off byperfect service and phenomenal attention to all details. The atmosphere and vibe are hip, lively and really add to the overalldining experience. The question is not \"if\" we will be back, but how quickly and frequently. Outstanding job pullingtogether another spectacular concept! Read more
I\'m a regular at the parters restaurants, but am one and done with Dea. The approach to the restaurant is an eyesoar, bar... stools are ill sized so you sit low to the bar.\nThe menu is awkward and overpriced. Meatballs were fine but spagetti withpomodoro and buffalo mozzarella was dissapointing and left my stomach grumbling. Would have liked Cab options by the glass. Read more
First of all, the dinning experience is exceptional.\n\nThe food is amazing. The cold cut sampler is freshly prepared, high... quality meat and cheese; but be aware, do not eat them all, save room for entree and dessert. Casarecce with octopus is stronglyrecommended, the octopus might be one of the best octopus you had in your life; tenderness and toughness of the octopus is at amagical balance point. Shrimp pasta is another story, the flavor blasts in your mouth as soon as you take the first bite. Tryolive oil cake as dessert, the cake itself is less flavored; but when you eat the cake with vanilla cream or berries, flavorwill be boosted by the cake.\nService and dinning environment is also outstanding. The excellency of the service start at thedoor, complementary valet parking and kindly greeting. Waiter and waitress really know menu well, they are very helpful. Read more
Dea was a five-star, fabulous experience from walking-in to walking-out. We were politely greeted upon walk-in, and proceeded to... the open bar until the remainder of our party arrived. The bartenders were immediately attentive and made us a tasty round ofcocktails. Soon thereafter, we were accompanied to our table and had a wonderful dining experience trying several dishes. Ifailed to capture all served plates and entrees, but each and every dish was spectacular and had palatable taste. I highlyrecommend and urge you to try a selection in every category offered because we did so, and nothing disappointed any of us! Wewill be back to enjoy again and again! Read more
I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal. I had a 3 course meal, with a couple of beers. Ideal for those who... want a romantic night out. There was also plenty of room for bigger groups. Read more
Never been to a restaurant so close to their opening that was operating so smoothly! The service was fantastic, cocktails were... incredible, and the food was outstanding. Each course was a treat, and the bone marrow luge with a tasty sherry was over the topfun. Read more
Made reservations a month in advance for 3. One man and two women. We arrived on time and they said they had no 3 person tables... downstairs, only upstairs. There were plenty of 4 person tables open downstairs. We are in our 80\'s and we had to climbterrifyingly steep stairs (no elevator) to sit in a small room at a table which was for 4 people. Completely unacceptabletreatment. I guess they didn\'t want customers to see old white haired people. I have found this to be true at otherrestaurants. Old people are seated near kitchens or out of sight. Salads were good. Wood roasted bone marrow was HORRIBLE goo.We are never going back. If I could give it no stars, I would. Read more
