I want to clear up any doubts you may have from reading reviews. I was hesitant since there were some reviews that were... negative about the food and service. We have been vegan for over 5 years so we were excited to try a new place. We ordered thePopeyes spicy chicken sandwich, the chicken fried chicken plate, the jackfruit tacos, the philly cheesesteak eggroll, a piece ofred velvet cake and the brownie(since it was national brownie day!) Words do not give the food justice. Everything wasDELICIOUS, but my personal favorites were the philly eggroll, the chicken & white cream homemade gravy(which I have not hadsince I became vegan) and the green beans are to die for. My husband loved the Popeyes chicken sandwich, fries(seasoned anddelicious), tacos, philly eggroll and the brownie! The cakes were so moist and reminded me of the cakes I used to eat beforebecoming vegan....In other words, they were yummy! Everything is fresh made to order by the owner Angela. The ladies that workedthere(I believe were nieces of Angela) were SO WELCOMING AND FRIENDLY. I kid you not, we had the best experience and some ofthe best vegan food in the DFW area. Whether you are vegan or not, you will NOT be disappointed. Next time we will try thebrisket and wings! The menu is extensive, I never liked seafood before becoming vegan so we did not try any but if you likeseafood there are many options. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed. We will definitely be going back and we live anhour away. Thank you ladies for such a great dining experience. Read more

Da Munchies This is a small eatery with limited seating. This black owned and operated business is right across the Trinity... River bridge????????? going into the Oak Cliff neighborhood. Just right off of Westmoreland and Canada Street. It's sitting inthe far left corner of Westmoreland Park Plaza. You have to download the menu onto your mobile ????device. It is better foryou to get familiar with the menu ????before you get on site. The menu is quite overwhelming. This is also a Daiquiri???? Shopto go. The food is made fresh to go and their is a wide range of vegan selection to choose from on menu. Today I'm choosing toeat all the vegetables on the menu. Basically a vegetable ???????????????????????? sample platter. Also she's going to cookme a special made freestyle burger with fries ????. This is truly a hidden Jewel of a place inside the city of Dallas olderneighborhood. First the six vegetables and sides were off the chain. Seasoned very well and delicious. Also try the freshfruit ???????????????? drinks they had in the refrigerator that were fresh and refreshing. Overall I would highly recommendthis place???????? to put on your list for eating vegan in Dallas on the go. Blessing to Ms. Angie my chef for this wonderfulmeal and Ms. Nikea who want me through all of my menu selections ?????????? Read more
