My husband and I drove from Denver CO., picked up my brother and sister-in-law in Leveland TX. We continued our trip to Baylor... Hospital, and hotel. We dined at Church's 10/31/2022, 5:00 . The cashier, and the other 3 staff member's customer sevice wasfine. As for the manger ger customer servive wouldn't even let the cashier finish taking our order. The manger listened tryingto fill our order, asking us what it was we wanted. She wouldn't wait for order to come up on screen or let cashier take theorder, creating chaos. The manger kept the throwing cooked chicken because she couldnt get our order right. She threw it intothe box, taking it out and throwing it back into the holding bin where the chichen is kept hot. You could see her discust towardus because of our order, she couldn't get it correct. We only got half our order, had to wait for 10 min for the otherhalf. Regarding our order, the fried chicken was delicious. The honey biscuit were dense, brown gravy/m.potatoes had beensetting in the container for awhile, gravy was stuck on the sides of the container. The country fried steak had a nasty freezerburn taste, white gravy was watered down. This is the 2nd time for my brother and his wife to experience this unacceptable,foul costumer service at this location. Our first at this restaurant. We will not visit this location again. Chicken was very flavorful. Ordered the 3 piece spicy. Spices were on point. Quick service and made sure I had napkins in my... bag. Cashier at the window was cleaning and seemed distracted, but the coworker in the back made sure I received my food. Willdefinitely come to this location again! Read more
No GLOVES OR MASK , NONE OF THE STAFF!!!! DEALING WITH CASH AND FOOD. OMG WE Came in to spend over 60 bucks for dinner first... time..there was no spicy available for 12 mins manager says..no apple pies at the location..we have coupon for 10 piece legs nthighs with side for 20$ we asked for all legs..but was charged 30$ for 12 piece mix. We pulled over to check order to noticemultiple items missing so we went inside store. She argued with us saying since we requested all legs..there was that upcharge..yea right! No free biscuit..side or anything for inconvience. The grease theyre cooking in is sooo old!! CORPORATE NEEDS TOLOOK INTO THESE LOCATIONS. Good drive-thru service! Food was hot, but chicken did not taste as it was maritated or flavored as CHURCH'S is known.
It's been a while since I had Church's chicken so I dined in at the Gaston location. It was around 12:30 PM and the dining room... was completely empty. In fact, I stood at the counter for a couple minutes with no one even noticing my presence. Finally Ihollered out "Hello" in hope someone might come take my order. Please don't think I am singling out Church's Chicken; thishappens to me a lot lately since Covid-19 became a thing. Anyway, the manager approached the register and took my order. Did youknow Church's has a spicy variety of seasoning on their chicken now? I ordered a two piece mixed plate with fried okra. Themanager made the okra fresh for me and was very personable. I remembered why I love Church's when I took that first bite. It'snot just their chicken, which seems to be larger than their nearest competitor, it's those delicious buttery biscuits! They havesome sweet glaze on the top crust and are flaky and warm. Down-home wholesome goodness! Upon giving me my order, the managertold me to hurry back and see her. I grabbed my lunch here , this place is a mess... only homeless people is here , I understand it's very hot out side , but as... a customer stand point if they are eating in that place is ok , but roaming around... affecting rest of the customers... batheroom is really filthy no soap to wash the hands .... Food ... I order #1 menu... with 2 piece of chicken... looks nice , tastereally bad used spoiled oil to cook... very disappointing.... Read more
