On a beautiful night hubby and I decided to stop by and try it out....So glad we did!! Food was delicious and fresh. Smaller... portions than most, but the taste makes up for it. I was there just last weekend sheltering from the pouring rain while visiting around downtown Dallas. The staff was happy to... bring me some soup on the house and I had their delicious soya tacos (vegan) in addition to my soup. Can honestly say I wasimpressed by the flavor. We were hankering for Mexican lunch on Saturday that was within a walk somewhere between our hotel and the downtown historic... district. Chimalma made sense and it did not disappoint. The service was welcoming and prompt, and wonderfully sustained duringour time. We started with chips and guacamole and they happily accommodated our desire for salsa. There?s a full assortment oftacos available, but I went for the chicken enchilada with mole sauce. Delicious and enough to fuel me for afternoon touristythings. We have another lunch slot to fill before we fly home, and we?ll definitely make a repeat lunch, it is that good. Read more
