Reviews for Chilangos Tacos in Dallas, TX
I found this place by searching ?the best tacos in Dallas? on Google. The best part is that it?s only 10min from where I live,... it?s on the very edge of Dallas near Irving, so I didn?t have to drive deep into the city - that?s always a plus. Anyway, Idon?t think I can say these are the best tacos in Dallas, but the salsa has to be one of the best salas I?ve ever had (it?scomplimentary, along with the guacamole if you eat inside). The best I?ve had so far were at Taquería Taxco, but these weregood nonetheless though. I got my food to-go. I ordered 4 ?pollo? (chicken) tacos and chips + salsa. Altogether I spent $12!!!!And if I didn?t get the chips and salsa, I would?ve spent like $10. The affordability alone will bring me back. I will say, Ienjoyed my tacos but the chicken didn?t have as much flavor as I would?ve liked. I had to add salsa, lime, cilantro, and onionsto give it all the flavor I needed. It was a good, just not great. The restaurant is cute, there?s a few tables, but it thinkit?s more set-up for people to come-and-go. Everyone was nice, the service was quick, and they got my order perfect! I will beback for sure! Check it out! Read more
First time trying that place. You can tell that this place has authentic Mexican vibe (like the name suggests) people working... there were nice too. Now the main thing, the food is great. One of the best tacos in dfw area. We ate pastor and chicken tacos. The space is small though. Read more
Took my son to try the Birria Tacos w/ consome (only offered on the weekends) and I had a mushroom taco. They did not... disappoint. The horchata on the other hand was not all that great for $3.50( it should have been strained better and needed moresweetener) Everything was delish and the tacos had a great crunch and taste. They were a bit busy, but tended to everyonepromptly. Great service and vibe. We'll definitely be back. 04/10/2022-Delicious mushroom quesadilla. ???? Read more
My son said his barbacoa on flour tortilla tacos were some of the best he's ever had. I agreed with him! Both the corn and flour... tortillas are some of the best I've ever had in Dallas. It's hard to find authentic tortillas and authentic cooked meats inNorth TX. The more South in TX you go, the more Mexican authentic the food gets, and Dallas is very far north, so ???????????.But this was a very pleasant surprise!! We had such a delicious and spontaneous dinner here. Very memorable and will be tellingothers about this place and coming back. It's a true gem in the rough. Don't let the neighborhood scare you from trying thisplace out. The people, and the food, are welcoming here. I do recommend ordering more than what you think you can eat, trust me. Read more
Had been hearing that this was the ?best taco spot in Dallas? so of course I had to see for myself. I went to the legacy Hall... location so this review will be based on my experience there. The food was 5/5 as it was flavorful, fresh and it came out reallyfast. I had the birria tacos which they only have on weekends. My first time and I am hooked! The only problem I had was thecustomer service at this location. The woman taking orders was rude and seemed very annoyed with the customers when they askedand the food items. Isn?t a good look as she was representing the business in an ill manner. Nevertheless, the food was bomb, soI?d go back and eat there again Read more
I absolutely loved the birria tacos. The staff was nice and friendly. It was a bit small inside and they have lot's of taco... lovers, so there was limited sitting. The corn I did not like, but everything else was delicious. Read more
Overall I really enjoyed the food that I got here! I think I was just expecting a bit more. When it comes to the location,... although the spot is small, everyone is sitting so close together and hardly any of the staff wear masks, which was scary to meas I can see who prepares the food and there are employees that interact with multiple customers without masks. The priceshowever were EXTREMELY FAIR! I got 4 chicken tacos and elote for just $12 and that is with a tip! I believe that is a steal!!!The elote was banging but the chicken I thought would be a bit more flavorful but it was all still good! The salsa sits out foreveryone to grab and I?m not sure how good that is with COVID so I got my salsa verde from the bottle. I would still recommendthis place but I would advise visitors to be cautious!! But the food is good. Read more
I?ve tried quite a few taco places in DFW and this is by far my fav!!!! The al pastor with pineapple was especially good. Their... salsas are delicious. The side of chips and salsa is only 2.95 and is well worth it. Very delicious. I wish I lived closer! Read more
