My best friend and I went for her birthday. Definitely make reservations if you want an actual table. The place is extremely... well designed and decorated and there are plenty of places to go inside the restaurant/lounge once you?re finished eating. Theoutdoor space is BEAUTIFUL and tranquil. Roof top bar at the Thompson hotel. Great view and atmosphere. Grab drinks inside or outside on the patio or make reservations... to eat there. Bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable in their drinks outside of their menu. Read more
We came here to celebrate our anniversary, Becca was our waitress; she did a great job taking care of us and congratulating us.... We got the Tempura Green Beans, Wagyu Tartare, Chilled Red Crab, and Texas Honey Brick Chicken. Everything was absolutelydelicious. The decor was upscale eclectic; it's a little tricky to find the right elevator but that makes it kind of cool andsecretive, we just asked someone at the front desk for help. The place was gorgeous! We really enjoyed the ambiance and the rooftop patio! The food was delicious too! Drinks were a little... over the top but Im aware I can have pretty simple tastes at times so this is not a gripe.. however, when paying a $180 tab fora couple I expect exemplary service, and there were times I had to get up and flag the waitress down to order food or drinks.The service we received was far worse than I have received at your average Denny?s. The place was magnificent, but the servicewas an absolute blight on the face of a beautiful birthday night for my wife. Read more
Super cute!! Nice for every type of outing, date with a girlfriend, a real date with your man & even a double date! The outside... / patio is just as cute or even cuter than inside. Trendy little rooftop lounge. Probably not the type of place I would bring a date but seemed like a cool spot for drinks with... your coworkers. The service was great. The food was a bit lackluster. The truffle fries were exactly that, the katsu sandwichwas different but it didn't wow me, and the salmon sashimi was a bit different as well but overall nothing notable about thefood. The drinks were a pretty heavy pour which might be reason enough for some, but I didn't find either of them very good. Ifyou like tequila (which I don't) the catbird old fashioned would be good... I was glad the server asked though. The martini wasunusual and very strong. The valet situation outside was a bit unusual as well... pay and then take the elevator down and walkto the garage where they'll bring your car out. Read more
I had an out of body eating experience!. The lamb chops I had were the best I?ve ever had, the tenderness, juiciness and flavors... combined perfectly to give a taste i have never had in my 21 years of life on this earth. The food was definitely pricey for the portions. However, it was very good. The views were amazing and the time I went it... wasn?t crowded. It made it easy to take pictures. The only reason I won?t go back is because the parking was difficult and it?slocated at the top floor of a hotel. That doesn?t mean don?t try this place.
