Reviews for Casita Tex Mex Bar and Grill Restaurant in Dallas, TX
Long time favorite TexMex Restaurant. Not sure how long this place has been here, but I?ve been coming here since the mid-70s,... and it has never failed to deliver... nothing fancy, but it delivers spot-on real-deal TexMex fair. Worth noting is that it isnot more of that wannabe fancy-dancy Yankee style, nor is it more home-style authentic Mexican food. It actually is what thename of the Restaurant says, real ?TexMex?. We never miss a chance to revisit Casitas whenever we are in the area. It?s a lil'off the beaten track, just like we like it, so you won?t run into many tourists and noobs. Mainly Texans looking for good oldfashioned TexMex in a modernizing world of bots, apps, cellphones, and fast food. Warms the heart to see some of the goodthings staying the same. Don?t forget to drop into Henks, right next door, for some homemade cookies as you leave... they?vebeen right here in the same parking lot, along with Casita, all these years. Highly recommended, even for Yankees, if you canfind it. Read more
