Reviews for Bubba's Cooks Country - Dallas in Dallas, TX
A petite fast-casual country restaurant serving up big mouth-watering biscuits and other fixings. There?s a lunch menu also but... we only went there for the breakfast. A little odd for the washroom to be located outside of the main dining area, and doesn?thave a door knob to get out. I find it disappointing because of the neighborhood that is in. Prices were a bit steep for acasual place but again it?s for the neighborhood. The food ??????????tasted fresh and delicious. Oh, the hash browns are nothash browns. They are country potatoes ????, which I don?t care for? Read more
This was my first visit. Dining in was nice. However, we experienced rude service on returning our to go order. To discover 40... minutes later, the #3 order had a roll and two sides left off the order, I was dumbfounded. The short Hispanic manager who saidhe did not have a name was so rude. His offer was to give our group two sides and get our group member out. Looks like my firstvisit will be my last. Read more
Wasn't sure what to expect when we got there. The drive thru was several blocks long and a long line to order inside. Their... phone was ringing nonstop. The food was so good. The Staff was so friendly. It was clean inside. When Braylen R found out wewere traveling and it was our 1st time there, he gave us a free Banana Pudding. So very kind. I highly recommend thisestablishment Read more
Beans, rice, Jesus Christ, Joseph Biden! I?m a local and this is my first time here to say I?m dumbfounded I haven?t been here... earlier is an understatement. Bubba?s is the best chicken I?ve had in Dallas outside of homemade. The seasoning and crust areto die for. They have honey on the table which elevated the chicken. Near SMU campus Got 2 drumsticks and a breast which is akings order. Sweet potatoes were the best thing i got ???? Sweet tea was herby and not too sweet ???????? I had one yeastroll and 1 cornbread, my opinion stick with the roll. Roll compliments everything the sides, your chicken with honey, byitself. Lemon pepper is such a iconic pairing with chicken and they have a really flavorful blend. In my opinion Hunts ketchupis really salty. I use whataburger ketchup at home from central market. The manager walked me through the experienceoutstanding woman by the name of Deborah. So so kind. The chicken and dumplings were basically poutine. Fried okra is crunchyand tasty. The apricot fried pie is basically a toaster strudel but not prepackaged a worthy finishing treat. Will be back. Read more

Pretty good place for comfort food especially considering the ambiance of the entire place. Need to come back to try out one of... their many dishes/sides/desserts. I got the ambrosia along with the banana pudding for dessert (highly recommend). Read more
Prices have been raised dramatically and chicken pieces shrinking. Lousy value now. Chicken-fried steak was $15 for two... mediocre and tough little pieces. Green beans were unseasoned but the fries? Seasoned with lemon pepper! Has this place changedhands? Not same as it used to be. Restrooms clean. Read more
