Yes, you’ll pay more here but the quality is first rate. The rib steak I had was cooked to perfection. This is coming from... someone who claims to grill better steaks than the best steakhouses. This place seasoned my steak perfectly but also performedthe very challenging task of mastering a nice crust on the surface while maintaining a medium rare middle. My wife reported herfilet was cooked similarly and was melt in the mouth good. My side was skillet fried potatoes - and I’m glad I asked for theonions and peppercorn sauce on the side to moderate its flavour intensity (plus it’s not the most pleasing looking toppingjudging by other photos.) The big old carrot was a unique addition but I didn’t have room in my stomach to eat it all. Forapps, my wife had 3 jumbo shrimp in her jumbo shrimp cocktail as I went for, why the heck not?, the Thick-Cut Nueske Bacon - 2thick slices of nice smoked salty bacon. So big I couldn’t eat all - so good. We shared a big giant round of crusty soft breadand butter, and for dessert, we shared delicious bread pudding. The service was outstanding, a tip of the hat to friendly waiterXavier, and house manager Logan. A delightful dinner treat, not stuffy, and well worth the $260 we dropped to experience this. Last night we ventured out to Bob's Steak and Chop shop for dinner because one of our friend's had a credit to come back to this... establishment because the first time was a bust. So she decided to give them another chance by returning on last night. So twopeople ordered 18 Oz steaks and 1 ordered a 14 Oz steak. One of those steaks truly looked liked an 18 Oz steak where the othersteak did not. My 14 Oz was fine. I have included pictures for you to see. So something was said to the GM, Gary was his namebut he didn't come over until he brought out another steak. He actually brought a 6 Oz steak out to my friend and proceeded tosay now you have a 20 Oz steak. When I tell you I was outdone with this type of comment and service from him with this being anupscale restaurant. I have never in my life seen anything like this in such a high class restaurant. The professional way tohave done this was to take the whole plate and bring my friend another steak. Now keep in mind the restaurant messed up oncehence is why we ended up back again because they wanted to make it right, but messed up again. There is no coming back to thisparticular restaurant but thank goodness there are others elsewhere. Shame on you Garry for not doing the right thing! Ourwaiter was great! Always nice at Bob's. Went to the Austin location the same week as going to the Dallas location. Took the fish of the day which... was a seabass. Next time I will stick with meat at a steak house. The seabass was overcooked and a bit dry lacking flavor. Read more

Bob's is the definition of, "You get what you pay for"! We were visiting from out of state. My 11 year old loves meat! He's... never been to a fancy place so I tested him to one of the best! Our server Jordan was just amazing. Treated us like high class,knew the menu inside and out, when my kid asked, he explained the glaze on the carrot and where it came from (Bob's mom), andwas one of the best servers I've ever had! The slab of pork was perfect. The ribeye was melting in my mouth. This place isnext-level! Better come hungry because they know how to cook! Read more

This is my new favorite restaurant. Had birthday dinner there and food was phenomenal. Best steak I’ve had in Dallas (way... better than even my other favorite steakhouses). Drinks were great and service was top notch. Will 100% be going back here. Read more

It’s a Valentines Day celebration y’all! The Morgans ALWAYS have to go ALL the way out, for this special day & we did JUST... what they say do in Tx: GO BIG, go/stay ???? HAPPY VALENTINES Love birds! As far as my review for Bob’s was the ???? Thefamous ????was a hit & sautéed JUST right! FYI: crab cakes are my fav yall, BUT Bob’s (wet) WASNT the best I’ve tried!EVERYWHERE I go, if crab cakes on the menu, I get’em, but for them to be thee MOST EXPENSIVE I’ve had & the least tasteful,I’m VERY disappointed ???? The service was EXCELLENT & Frank was AWESOME, BUT my food WASNT hot ENOUGH for the price. I DONTcare if it’s 2 people or 10 people at the table. They SHOULD make SURE, EVERYBODY’s food is hot! Celebrated my son and daughter birthday's recently. Bob's personalized the menu for them. I feasted on a medium well sirloin... that was seasoned to perfection, the glazed carrot is so scrumptious as was the baked potato. Can't forget about the pickles,peppers and bread before dinner arrives. After dinner, the honorees were treated to a complimentary peanut butter, fudge icecream dessert. Read more
