Good bbq spot. Close to downtown. Has street and off street parking. Tried their 2 meat potato(chopped beef & hot link) and a 2... meat salad ( chopped beef & turkey). I wouldn't any red meats on the salad unless you like it. The potato with that meat combowas very good. Read more
Heard about this place decided to give it a try. Was very disappointed the brisket didn?t have any smoke flavor and could not... taste any seasoning. The brisket had to be a couple of days old. Got a upset stomach.Potato was not worth the price it tastelike it was microwaved. Even the bread was hard.WILL NOT RETURN. The only positive thing I can say is the cashier is polite. First time here, it was really clean in waiting and dining area, but the ladies restroom was in terrible state. The toilet alone... nearly made me loose my appetite. The food was good, they get busy so I would recommend you call ahead if in a rush. Read more
For a little BBQ spot black owned it's not too bad. I work near the place I go in on Thursday because he freshly barbecues and... cook everything on Thursdays. I've only seen one woman working there she has a great personality she is very professional andfriendly and she makes you want to come back. I really don't know what her position is but a lot of times when I go in she'sworking the cash register, but I think she does way more than that. She told me they've been in business for 26 years gave me alittle history on the place great customer service. Bought a three-meat plate. This place is definitely not a top-notch restaurant or bbq joint for that matter. If you're looking... for that "smoke" flavor, this is not the place to come as the ribs had to be oven-baked or roasted albeit, it did possess a goodflavor. The edges of the turkey were discolored & a bit hard, an indication of old meat. I haven't touched the chicken yet, butthe green beans were over-seasoned. The pound cake is A1! Read more
