Reviews for Ascension Coffee - Crescent Court in Dallas, TX

I go to Ascension very often because I live a 5 minute walk away. For the first time I tried the chicken sandwich. The texture... of the chicken was very very off. A common way to add juiciness and flavor to chicken is to brine it. This is a great techniqueuntil it?s not. Too much brining results in a very strange texture, imagine a juicy plump piece of rubber. That?s what happenedto this chicken. Please taste test your brining procedure for your chicken, it?s an issue. If you address the issue, happy tochange this review to a 5 star. Read more

First time coming to Ascension with my best friend and we had a great time. I don't drink coffee much but my server recommended... a white chocolate mocha and it was fantastic! Food was delicious as well, took a bit to come out once we ordered but I think itwas worth the wait. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone because the atmosphere was great and our server Nancy wasattentive, making sure we had everything we needed despite how busy the restaurant was. Will be coming back for brunch thisweekend ! Read more

Very delicious chia seed pudding and loved the outdoor seating area too. Definitely a friendly place to grab a bite really quick... or dine in and take out too. Read more

What a great cafe for breakfast! I loved the chic interior and vibes off the bat. Service was quick and friendly that just... involved sitting where there?s space. For a place downtown, the price is very reasonable and quality really good! I especiallyloved the latte(with art) and eggs Benedict. Stop by and try this place out! Read more

"Life is a useless passion, an exciting journey of a mammal in survival mode. Each day is a miracle, a blessing unexplored and... the more you immerse yourself in light, the less you will feel the darkness. There is more to life than nothingness. Andcynicism. And nihilism. And selfishness. And glorious isolation. Be selfish with yourself, but live your life through yourimmortal acts, acts that engrain your legacy onto humanity. Transcend your fears and follow yourself into the void instead ofletting yourself get eaten up by entropy and decay. Freedom is being yourself without permission. Be soft and leave a lastingimpression on everybody you meet." ~Mohadesa Najumi - To transcend your fears and follow yourself into the void is toascend. And today, I followed myself to Ascension Coffee - Crescent City, and the face of Ascension today, our existentialguide, was Nancy. She was clever and charming and delightful. Ascension is fabulous, with a downtown hipster, bohemian, yetsophisticated vibe. You should follow your road to Ascension and transcend! - Read more

Visited for brunch and it didn?t disappoint! We got seated very quickly and the service was okay. I ordered a chicken sandwich... and my husband ordered the French toast. We were both satisfied with the flavors. We accompanied it with chorizo fries andmimosas. Definitely will be coming back to try their coffee and other dishes. Read more

The coffee was really good, and so was the food. Came here after our first choice was closed and I'm so happy fate worked out... the way it did. The service was great and I will definitely come back. Oh, also learned that all the famous people who come intostay across the street, so you might be able to see Megan Fox the next time you're here. Read more

The service was really good, our waiter was helpful and kind. The interior is stylish but it pretty noisy and crowded with... tables very close together - so I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking to relax or for a chill casual environment. All thefood we ordered was tasty though. The coffee was flavored very well without being overly sweet. Read more
