I have driven past this restaurant for years. The outside just didn?t encourage me to try it out. Last night I was trying to... find a neighborhood restaurant and found this restaurant had good reviews. I tried it out and was pleasantly surprised. The foodtasted fresh and authentic. Quiet neighborhood restaurant, been there or ordered delivery. I love to try different items and find a waiter that will give... me a truthful recommendation for a great dish. Most will often reply it's all good, or even say something like I don't know, Ihaven't tried anything. That is really discouraging. How are we found the perfect waiter, Sergio, he gave me his honestassessment of a couple plates but suggested I try the Victor Risotto It was on a bed of Italian rice, something I've rarelytried in Italian food but I was pleasantly surprised and how good it tasted together with shrimp, chicken, and tilapia withportobello mushrooms. We had calamari for an appetizer,, they were excellent. The shrimp were butterfly, with ample portions.My wife had a classic chicken linguine and it was spot on. I love this hidden gem. You would never know by the outside what is going on inside! It?s like knowing a secret that you want to... share but you?re afraid if everyone finds out, it will ruin it for you. Alas, it would be bad if the place didn?t get enoughbusiness so, I am going to tell you what you have been missing. The quality of the food is wonderful and obviously prepared by aknowledgeable chef who knows real authentic Italian. Every thing is so fresh and the menu offers things you can?t find at mostItalian restaurants. It makes me feel like I am back in Tuscany. The staff is also extremely nice and helpful. Why they are in astrip shopping center, beats me but don?t let that be what keeps you away from a superb meal. Read more
