Loved this place!!! The staff was really nice and the drinks are good. My absolute favorite part is it's a restroom close enough... to the theaters. It's small but still roomy. Now if you don't like being close to someone then take that into considerationbecause you will be "date" close. Overall still perfect movie theater. Read more
The inside of the lobby is very nice and has cool decor, however I was really disappointed with the rest of the experience. The... theater was nothing special. The seats were worn down with popcorn left over in it and not particularly comfortable. With evenlocal theaters now having the fluffy reclined seats, you would think they would have the same quality. The service wasn?t thebest. I sat around for about 10 minutes after the movie ended waiting to get my credit card back. I thought they might have justforgotten mine till I realized the majority of the theater was left looking around seeing if other people were waiting for thesame reason too. Worst of all - the cost is just too much for what they provide. It was $35 for 2 tickets, not including the $37for food (that?s just for getting 1 soda, entree and appetizer). The cheese sticks were grocery store quality at best, howeverthe burger was pretty good. For the value you get back, I don?t think it?s worth paying the premium when you can go to an IMAXmovie or Eatery for much less. I do love their atmosphere and company culture of supporting multiple different genres of filmsand cult classics, and I wish I visit here more often, but unfortunately I think it needs a major remodeling upgrade or priceadjustment (which won?t happen) before I think about returning Read more

Overall, not a bad experience. Slow service. Decent food. Wish seats fully reclined with leg rests. Definitely enjoyed the... quiet theater, although server was rude when we mistakenly thought he brought wrong drink to different customer. Overall, greatplace for date night! Update: First time coming back post covid and I was not disappointed! How can this locations still feel the same but even... better? I came for "Halloween Kills" and they took the time to decorate and halloween up the place, and it really adds to theatmosphere. One of the things that has changed is the menu which is so sad (stupid covid), since I was obsessed with the bee'skiss honeycomb alcoholic shake (literally see review below hahaha) buy I had an AMAZING server (she had darker hair in aponytail at vetted wells and she was training a taller blonde). I told her about the drink, immediately she knew what I wastalking about and even though there were no honeycombs, she did what she could and made an updated version just for little ol'me. Put that on the menu! The seats still do not fully recline, but the back does still let back and if you are on the frontrow, they fully recline. I am so impressed with this location, the customer service is always amazing. From the two girls atthe front desk, to the servers in the theater, to the GM (Karen). She happened to be upstairs when we were leaving and sheshowed us to our seats. I love a team that works together and are passionate about customers and their job, so we will for surebe back. Lastly, if you have never been to the Alamo Drafthouse, some early! There are a ton of videos and shorts that areshown that relate to the movie and its themes. I came across the Alamo as I was looking for a Proposal Location. They have an amazing Patio with Downtown Dallas views in the... background. The Staff was Great. Very Helpful. This review has been long overdue. I have to commend the manager for this establishment. She was able to clear up a confusion of... my final receipt for the night and offered so much hospitality and sympathy. She went above and beyond for their customer; Idon't think I've experience customer service of such kind. Big kudos to Katy. Will definitely be coming back.
