Recently, my 2 kids and I visited this restaurant. No one sat us, I had to ask if we could sit anywhere. The table we were... sitting at first was unstable, so we moved. The table we moved to was dirty, UGH! We all ordered mango juice. My kids were donewith their drinks, so the waitress decided to get them a refill & brought me water. I never asked for water or my kid's refill.I was charged 2 full drink prices for the extra mango juice my kids received. When I asked about it, the waitress apologized andstated she thought I knew. BUT yet, the price was never changed. Food was not worth the money they charged. I got the beef stewand jollof rice, neither one was good & were too plain. This is a Kenya restaurant, so that was disappointing. When the billcame, there was a GRATUITY fee. I am a food critic; a gratuity is when a restaurant automatically adds a gratuity charge to thebill of a party. The gratuity is only applied to parties of six or eight or more. A restaurant that is ran correctly prints thispolicy on its menu to alert patrons before they receive their bill. This restaurant is very bad about informing its customers ofchanges. You cannot assume the customers that come in are aware of your policy. I will definitely not be returning to thisrestaurant. Read more

(This is my second review of this place). I had a craving for African food one evening so I went with a friend. I love this... place because it has a full bar in there. I got a goat platter with jollof rice and fufu. My friend got a tilapia whole withplantains and pilau rice. I do wish my food was a little spicier but boy did it hit the spot. Can?t wait to come back formore!!! Read more

This place is a pleasant surprise with the fusion of African foods. Service was a bit slow, but the staff was friendly.

So I am not sure if the owner looked at all the bad reviews and decided to change some stuff up because I have nothing but good... things to say. I ordered delivery and it arrive within about 40 minutes. The food was hot and fresh, like it just came off thegrill. Everything tasted so good! The oxtails were full, and juicy. The chicken was tender and not dried out. The rice was spicybut not too spicy so good for me personally. I can?t eat crazy spicy foods. The fufu was good I think. This was my first timinghaving fufu so I?m not sure what to compare it. It wasn?t too mushy but it wasn?t slimy either. It was a good texture. Also getthe plantains! Honestly I almost didn?t want to order because of some of the reviews. But I?m so happy I did because everythingturned out great! Read more
